There is one thing that every self-respecting liberal-progressive in the country believes without question, and that is, they are much more intelligent than those knuckle-dragging conservatives. Liberals just KNOW they are smarter and have been gifted with above-average intellectual abilities. To them, all of them, it's just the way it is.

I see it often repeated here that leftists are dumb. Since they've managed to take over almost every institution in America, if they're that stupid then what does it say about us?
It's time to stop dismissing them as fools and treat them as the threat they are.

Mazie Hirono: ‘We Democrats know so much’ that we tend to alienate voters

Sen. Mazie Hirono suggested that Democrats have a hard time connecting with voters because their breadth of knowledge tends to turn people off.
The Hawaii Democrat made the comment during a discussion at the “Bend Towards Justice” conference in Washington when she was asked by Slate editor Dahlia Lithwick how to make the judicial system a top campaign issue for voters.
“One of the things that we Democrats have a really hard time is connecting to people’s hearts instead of here,” Ms. Hirono responded, pointing at her head, according to a clip flagged by the Republic National Committee. “We’re really good at shoving out all the information that touch people here [points to the brain] but not here [points to the heart].”
“I’ve been saying it at all our Senate Democratic retreats we need to speak to the heart, not in a manipulative way, not in a way that brings forth everybody’s fears and resentments, but truly to speak to the heart so that people know that we’re actually on their side,” she continued.
“We have to kind of tell everyone how smart we are, and so we have a tendency to be very left-brain,” the senator added.
Add Ms. Hirono: “We Democrats know so much” it can alienate voters.
Dumb and dangerous are not mutually exclusive, but your point is well made. I don’t underestimate leftists, nor do I underestimate them as a threat, but they do do the dumbest stuff.
Our enemies are now moving onto places that they once feared: Taiwan, Ukraine, Eastern Europe. No longer do they fear the USA. They see us as weak and ineffective. The Democrats will hand the USA over to our enemies without firing a shot and then blame Trump, even though Trump has no power. And the Dumb Democrats will believe the leadership.
Sometimes when I’m being lectured on economics by a leftard I’ll ask if they would pay more for a high interest bond or a low interest bond. Their answer usually tells me all I need to know about them. When I explain their error, it gets dismissed as unimportant. That confirms my assessment.

It is an easy step from these desires to improve society into FORCING individuals into your utopian society image by coercion and restraints of freedom. Every step in that direction makes the next steps easier and actions become easier when the masses can be made to feel a sense of crisis or panic. Thus revolutions, wars, financial crises, pandemics and even social movements can be made platforms for such changes!

I’m sick of arrogant, do-nothing conservatives claiming that the Marxist-Progressives are stupid. They plan years in advance, execute effectively and kick the ass of the people who claim they are stupid at every turn. I’ve been a political activist for decades and I am fed up with working with people who lack the discipline and fortitude to get anything done. I’m sick of working with people who consistently underestimate the brilliance of the opposition. I’m sick of people who think that because the opposition has a different (and yes, flawed) perspective on human nature and the reality of human existence, that means everything else about them is flawed. WRONG!!! If that were true, we conservatives wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in trying to figure out how to dig our way out of the hole we’ve allowed ourselves to be buried in.

You sound like a defeatist! Wise up, the only smart ones they have are their controllers, some of which don’t even live in thus country.
I agree, most conservatives reach for a bat after the liberals have already pitched the ball. Its in the catcher’s mitt before they get back to the plate. RULE #1 - Pick up your bat BEFORE you engage a liberal. They came loaded, you should too.
