They don’t even hide their intentions anymore. As inflation continues to climb to record highs Joe Biden on Friday commented on the rise in car prices. Joe actually said if car prices are high, then one way to reduce the demand for cars was “to make Americans poorer.” It’s the Democrat way!
And people actually listen to this nonsense.

but poorness is the cause of crime, racism, social injustice, hunger, etc
And ending our energy independence. That’ll help too. ‘Get ‘em into those high rise 500 sqft apartments, walk or use the bus. They don’t need cars. We gotta save the erf. Right away.’
It’s all part of the plan. From our “Winter of Death for the Unvaccinated” President.
You’ll own nothing and be happy.
Isn't this the same sh*t they do to Trump every day?
Am I missing something?
Nothing other than the fact the owner of the Gateway Pundit is a disgusting psycho-deranged pervert who likes to boink young asian men.
It’s pretty clear that the Great Reset is not a conspiracy theory.
The globalist oligarchs behind it really do want us dead.
It’s kill-or-be-killed time.
Which will you choose?
“We’ll take things away from you for your own good”
I don’t trust Gateway Pundit. Your interpretation is correct. The headline seems like clickbait.
Biden is misrepresenting the Republican position, but GP is likewise misrepresenting Biden.
He didn't intend to admit that he wants to make people poorer, but in fact that is what his policies are doing. Be sure listen to Psaki's denial.
In liberal,la-la land, we peons will be much richer when we have no more money to spend... or somehting
Dude, you make Americans poorer two things happen, one they pay less taxes to the government and two they demand more services / payments from the government. That’s called a lose - lose Scenario.
Give the poor man a break. He’s right on top of things as he still thinks this is 2020. Can’t expect him to remember so many things since his next ice cream break is probably taking up 90% of his available memory.

I’m not an economist, but I’ve been doing this a long time. But here’s the way to look at it. If car prices are too high right now, there are two solutions: You increase the supply of cars by making more of them, or you reduce demand for cars by making Americans poorer. That’s the choice. And then more blah, blah, blah about the government spending to build up the infrastructure and more about building in America that sounds like it could have come from Trump. Full White House copy of Biden's remarksBelieve it or not, there’s a lot of people in the second camp. You’ll hear them complain that wages are rising too fast among the very middle-class and working-class people who have endured decades of stalled incomes.
Their view of the economy says the only solution to our current and future challenges is to make the working families that are the backbone in our country poorer or keep them in the state they’re in.
It’s a pessimistic vision, and I reject it. I reject the idea that we should somehow punish people because they finally have a little more breathing room.
America doesn’t need to settle for less. We need an economy that has the capacity to generate more growth, more jobs, and more opportunity for all Americans.
He does and says more than enough stupid stuff that we don't have to quote him out of context. That's a trick of the left. We should quote him accurately and even if he says something positive show how his words don't match his actions.
With the internet, there is no reason any more to use ellipsis to take out words or quote selectively from someone. Newspapers had limited number of pages and TV or radio had limited time - but internet pages should always allow the user to click on the ellipsis to see what was removed and provide links to the original source.

Indeed. I used to live in Downtown LA but moved to Long Beach due to the filth in LA. Both LA and Long Beach are building high rise 500 sf apartment buildings like mad. They are going up everywhere.
Heck, just yesterday I saw a new, very large, multi-story, multi-building apartment complex in the city of Gardena with huge signs advertising them as 100% electric / green apartments. No natural gas. Not a great idea for a place like California with a crappy power grid and rolling blackouts every summer. People will be dying in mass from heat stroke and dehydration in their neat little crackerbox apartments. But hey, liberal elites gotta learn the hard way.
Soon only the very wealthy or very fortunate will live in a single family home in California. I give it 10 years until this becomes reality.
