They don’t even hide their intentions anymore. As inflation continues to climb to record highs Joe Biden on Friday commented on the rise in car prices. Joe actually said if car prices are high, then one way to reduce the demand for cars was “to make Americans poorer.” It’s the Democrat way!
And people actually listen to this nonsense.

Sorry but that picture should never be used for humor. That was a very tragic air disaster and many of the relatives and friends are still alive. I was stationed at Mather AFB that morning getting new dress shoes when the news came over the radio. The PSA flight had originally departed from Sacramento with a stop in Los Angeles before crashing on approach to San Diego after colliding with a Cessna. It was one of the worst air disasters in US history.

I’m guessing Biden and his thugs want the same control over food - and medical care. They want to control food chains and the medicine that’s effective for treating covid. That statement in and of itself is correct. Demand is far outstripping supply for a number of reasons (China Virus, Chip Shortages, Labor Shortage, Shipping issues, Supply Chain issues ...)

No, the idiocy of his statement is consistent with the context. You can’t reduce the price of something by making more of it, unless you can make more of it at the same cost or a lower cost. Whip Inflation Now and price controls make more sense than to increase demand for raw materials and hope manufacturers won’t pass along the increased costs of the higher prices for raw materials and labor.

Right Joe - you just “make more of them”. In accounting you need to measure the “cost of goods sold”. This depends on all the materials and labor used to make the product. Making more cars increases demand for all these raw materials and the demand for labor, so the cost of production will tend to go up. The sales prices may go down due to increased supply of the finished product at the same time. Therefore the car manufacturer will no longer have a profit, and eventually will go bankrupt. What manufacturer would do this? You make as many cars as you can sell at a profit based on the market price of every component, and the profit is based on the amount of capital invested, and expected return on the investment. I think everyone reading this will be angry that this demented creature reads this stuff off his teleprompter, written by his communist handlers, and doesn’t have the common sense to realize how embarrassingly stupid it is.
With the internet, there is no reason any more to use ellipsis to take out words or quote selectively from someone. Newspapers had limited number of pages and TV or radio had limited time - but internet pages should always allow the user to click on the ellipsis to see what was removed and provide links to the original source.
I feel like some "conservative" websites are actually frauds run by liberal, to undermine conservatives by feeding easily disproven lies to inattentive who forward stuff without reading it. They send stuff like this out to liberal friends and further convince the liberals that all conservatives are idiots who can't read.
It also provides cannon fodder for "fact"checkers who gain credibility by shooting down this kind of obvious lie, and then they use that credibility to attack real stuff.

Biden is NOT advocating making people poorer.
There’s plenty of REAL things to critique him for. It’s stupid to attack him for things he didn’t do.
It’s really no different than the Democrats and media shills repeating the lie that when Trump said there were good people on both sides, he was specifically talking about KKK and racists. He repeatedly said the opposite from day one. Yet they still lie about it to this day.
Let’s not fall into that trap.
Biden is actually advocating for the average person to make more. The problem is that, with inflation and supply-chain issues, we are in danger of going the way of Venezuela.
Democrats mostly do not believe their policies will lead to this and that the problems in Venezuela are more the result of dictatorial issues. But when policies lead to an ever-increasing catastrophe, those in charge always crack the whip to keep people in line.
We need to persuasively argue against what Biden is REALLY for. Things like price controls and increasing minimum wages by government edict. Those things may give the average person a little more spending power for a very brief period of time. Then the government has to keep doing it and fixing the mess they make.
That’s how we can end up like Venezuela.
Forcing businesses to pay more than the market demands will result in fewer jobs, especially for the unskilled. It also results in huge cost of living increases. Union contracts usually require union wages to go up in relation to minimum wage also.
Price controls result in less availability of products and services because businesses and investors will put money and resources into whatever is profitable. We already have supply chain issues. We don’t want more.
What Trump was doing when he was in office was very effective in improving America’s economy. Biden and the Democrats only make excuses for their failure. We need to return to Trump’s policies and ditch the Democrats.
