Arson or lightning?
Down power lines and high winds.
We live 10 miles to the north east. The winds have died down, but we can still smell the smoke.
Fires rage in Boulder with 80 mph winds… Raw evacuation video
Prayers for all concerned.
In the end the official version from the authorities will no doubt be “climate change” IMHO.
“wildfire”
Protect the lives and property of the Coloradans as they flee the raging fires. You promise You will be with us through the fire and the water. You will not let us burn or drown.
May Your angels of protection shelter the firefighters and first responders. Put an impenetrable shield around them. May not one be injured.
LORD, You calm the waves and the seas. You told the wind, "Peace. Be still." May You calm the 100 mile an hour winds.
We cry out to You, Refuge and Shield.
In JESUS' Name we pray. AMEN.
Gosh.
Prayers for the people there.
I bugged out of my house about 3:00pm today. Currently at my daughter’s house watching the news. My neighborhood is in pre-evacuation status. We get very strong winds in this area of Denver. We had 110 mph gusts about noon. Most likely the wind toppled a power line or transformer. That started a 1600 acre grass fire that the wind blew into subdivisions.

Prayers for you FRiend.
Our prayers may be answered, as rain and snow are predicted for the area tomorrow, according to the Weather Channel.
Wow
Hard to stop a fire like that
Horrible. So sorry. How close to the city of Boulder itself is threatened?
The fire is to the southeast about 10 miles. And moving away to the east.
Believing the wind will die down too.
