"While gas prices have declined in recent weeks, GasBuddy is forecasting that prices at the pump nationally could increase in 2022 and possibly top $4 a gallon.
According to a GasBuddy forecast shared exclusively with CNN, the national monthly average price for a gallon of gas will hit $3.71 in May 2022 and then start to decline later in the year.
However, Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, said it is possible prices could hit at least $4 a gallon. ..."

Could? A lot of stations in Reno are there. Big swings from “name” gas to general stations. Carson City is about 30 cents less. Go figure.
Tell me something that will be cheaper in 2022, that would be news.

In Kansas City were between 1.66 and 1.92 when the year began. Now are at 2.75 to 3.00. Goes up a bit then back down.

Sounds right. If the Midwest is between 2.50 and 3.50 California has to be much higher.

Saw diesel for 3.08 today. Filled both massive tanks on the rollback.
It’s been 3.49 for weeks. It was only one station so someone likely made a mistake.
Gas is at around $5(+) in California.
I suppose this story means it will reach $6 or $7 a gallon here? 🙄
We have a station in Reno that’s already at $5.19 a gallon
I just filled up in Carson city for $3.39 a gallon, well it is $4.19 a gallon in South Reno, and $51.9 a gallon at Virginia and I-80. Luckily today, or tonight rather, I was able to fill up in Carson city. A few of those Biden signs on gas pumps around the area, they should be on everyone of them
And like here in Reno, I doubt anybody’s wages went up as much is the fuel prices did..
