The article lays out it’s case. For me, it takes place at Christmas (before, at a party) so it’s a Christmas movie.

“Welcome to the party pal”... The closing scene is set to a Christmas song for crying out loud.

Most Christmas movies have nothing to do with Christmas. Look at Home Alone. It could have been set over spring break, Memorial Day, or the 4th of July with just a few minor tweaks to the script.

Die Hard, along with Rambo I/Rambo II were big high lites on the 24th of December for German TV.
Alan Rickman unavailable for comment . . .
. . . and of course, who cares. Just another pathetic media move to attempt to draw attention to itself and away from Brandon.

Die Hard II is also therefore a Christmas movie

Bruce Willis was asked to leave an LA Rite Aid earlier this year when he wasn’t wearing a mask. He subsequently apologized calling it an “error in judgment”.

Whatever. Personally, my favorite Christmas movie is Gremlins. At least half of the movie takes place on Christmas Eve night. There’s a heck of a lot more Christmas decorations. One of the characters shares a heartbreaking story about why she doesn’t celebrate Christmas. AND the nasty vicious creatures imitating Christmas traditions (caroling etc.).

I agree with this. When I get tired of sugar sweet Christmas movies and my family has gone to bed, I like to watch this movie and cheer when Hans falls. Sorry folks, guilty pleasure.

“Argyle” also played the kid who Ray Charles shot at to stop him from stealing a guitar from his music shop in the movie “The Blues Brothers.”

I love the Christmas tradition of throwing Hans Gruber off the skyscraper.

White should know some things about classic cinema.
After all, he was the kid shot at by Ray Charles after trying to steal a guitar off the wall in the Blues Brothers.....

Die Hard is certainly NOT a Christmas movie! It is an action movie SET in the Christmas season.
