Happy “Shortest Daylight of the Year” Day!

From here on out until the first day of Summer, every day (daylight) is getting longer.

Those of us who live in the Northern Hemisphere should celebrate this not as the first day of winter but as the first day of spring!

I like this time of year when you can still see long shadows at noon because the sun is so low in the sky. Walking through the woods is very eerie and silent.

Nice Winter pic. Sorta reminds me of my house, ‘cept that rabbit wouldn’t last 5 minutes with all the bobcats, owls, fox, fisher cats, and coy wolves roaming around here.

I dunno, I’ve been keeping track of this since mid-June and it’s been nothing but shorter and shorter days. If this keeps up we won’t have any sunlight at all by next June! Algore warned us, but did we listen?
