I crunch the numbers several ways and conclude between 150,000 and 450,000 people will lose their job over Mayor Bill de Blasio's vaccination requirement for all NYC workers.
According to Joe Borelli, NYC Council Minority Leader, 45% of blacks, 40% of whites, and 30% of Hispanics will be ineligible and legally barred from working in New York City in 20 days.

I heard that. I don't know if it is a complete stop, or a stop limited to some employment sectors. And, these rulings have been appealed by over-eager executives. So, it may not be completely over.
Regardless, it strikes me as foolish for DeB. to put this on with a 3 week implementation expiring only several days before he leaves office at the first of January. Very lame.
This says more about the employers that put up with this sh!t than it does about the misfits who run NYC.
