5. Smollett did not have serious injuries stemming from the attack. That is in keeping with what the Osundairo brothers testified. They say Smollett told them not to hurt him too badly.
6. Smollett never signed a criminal complaint against the brothers. Instead, he sent Abel a text message after it came to light the brothers had been arrested in which he said he didn’t believe they did anything wrong and stood with them. Webb alleges that this was the actor’s way of telling them he’d protect them.

Smollett has an OJ jury. There will be no conviction regardless of the evidence.

1. Smollett allegedly withheld evidence from the police such as DNA evidence, medical records and his phone records. Webb believes this is because he didn’t want the crime to be solved.I read one, hell if they let Congress investigate Juicy then all that information would have been available, that's what happens to Republicans investigated by Congress......

I think the jury is deliberating already and I doubt it will take long.

Smollett has a good lawyer who is claiming the prosecution’s case is falling like a house of cards by his arguments.

I saw a portion of the interview he gave to that grieving, fawning Robin Roberts and I wanted to reach thru my TV and whack her upsida her head!
She has yet to apologize for that disgusting display.

There must be a precise word that describes those people who think they are very smart and clever, but are actually dumb as rocks - and don’t know it.

Jussie Smollett is guilty as sin, but he doesn’t have a case that needs to be destroyed.
The prosecutor has to make the case.
Smollett is innocent until proven guilty under the law.

This clown may still walk (it is a Chicago jury), but if he’s found guilty, he should get at the very least the same punishment that someone convicted of the supposed hate crime would get. And that ain’t probation and community service.
Anything less just encourages both hate crimes and phony hate crimes, neither of which we need any more of now.

Just put it to the realistic odd that when blacks claim hate crimes, 98% of the time its committed by themselves or other blacks. But in his case, its pretty good bet that 2 white guys wearing MAGAhats in Chicago were walking down the street at 2am, in -10 below 0 weather, with a rope and a bottle of bleach looking for gay drama queen negros to do whatever they did.

This is the only one I might have an issue with. I haven't been following the case too closely, so honest questions. Isn't that basically Smollett invoking the 4th and 5th amendments? Or are they saying he refused to comply with a warrant?
IOW, if the police ASK for your phone records without a warrant, and you refuse to provide them, can that be presented in court as "withholding evidence"? Perhaps they had a warrant and that question is moot.
I'm interested in hearing thoughts on that to better educate myself.
