Simple. Hamas hates Israel as Islam in general hates Israel. Hamas doesn’t want peace with Israel, they want Israel dead, along with America, as they and Iran have stated many times.

Why?

After living next to these crazy people 50 years now, I have finally come to the realization that they should be called terror orgs, since then someone comes along and says - no - this is “resistance” ...
