Brings tears to my eyes to hear Rush again. You?
Remember when his wife went on the show to say that she was not the Limbaugh we were expecting to hear? That Rush had passed? That was very sad.
I’l like to take some of his old podcasts on a long road trip. Flying is out these days. I miss him.
Better commentary than anything else on the air.
Mega Dittos Bump.
Someplace in deep storage I have several old VHS recordings of Rush’s TV show. The recording quality is terrible but the content is priceless.
Love ya Rush!
I miss him every day. I listen to Snerdly now - James Golden - every day on the radio. What was incredible about Rush was how long he actually stayed on the radio while he was dying, he was doing shows all the way up to 2 weeks before he died. Incredible dedication to this country and I’m sad he went out knowing the Marxist domestic enemies coup against Trump was successful and that piece of brain dead rat filth Biden taking office.
No need for vhs. It’s all on YouTube.
Yeah, as soon as I heard her voice, I said “Uh ohhh...” Still very sad about it.
As of Feb 2nd, his last show, Rush didn’t know death was imminent. In fact if you listen to his last show again he sounded cautiously optimistic about how his treatment was going. Something happened in the last two weeks. Some unexpected complication I believe and he must have quickly gone downhill.
According to a friend of mine, who worked for Rush in sales, he had frequent treatments of OPDIVO + YERVOY + IMFINZI, to prolong his life for extra months, but the side effects were notable, and Rush suffered. For us.
RIP, FRiend.
I remember those shows.
I did not know that. I will look for them. Thanks!
I try not to think about Rush, because I continue to cry to this day (as in right now). The other day I was watching something and I heard someone refer to him as The Late Rush Limbaugh. I had never heard him called The Late before, and it made me cry all over again. I didn’t listen to any tributes, and even though I’m still a 24/7 member, I don’t listen to his old shows. It just makes me too sad. He never should have been taken from us at such a young age, and such a crucial time. I miss him.
Judy,
Please don’t cry because he’s gone; smile because we had him for all those years. He’s still with us...
Yep. My heart absolutely sank and I burst into tears as soon as I heard her voice.
I have mentioned before on similar threads that when Rush passed away I began organizing all of the podcasts I had downloaded over the decades. I happened to hit play on one from 2007,when Billary was the frontrunner, and Obambi was just a young upstart. I continue to listen in order, and I am now deep into Operation Chaos. Amazing! Most of the time each podcast has plenty of timeless wisdom. It is also timely since we know Obambi and his minions are really in charge today. In May 2008 Billary is in major trouble, Obambi is babbling without the help of a teleprompter, and McCain is just lame. Cannot wait for Sarah Palin to come on the scene.
During the dark days of Klintoon and Odumbo, Rush’s eternal optimism got me through some tough days & miss him with Diaper Joe behind the wheel.
I truly believe there is a conservative out there waiting to lead us out of Communism. Trump taught us how to fight and there’s someone out there ready to take us the rest of the way.
