The first Woman Prime Minister in Swedish History lasted less than one day, she resigned about 12 hours after becoming Prime Minister....Her coalition partner quit after her budget was defeated in Parliament. The budget that passed included the Anti-Immigrant Far Right Party (according to the BBC), the Green Party refused to go along with a budget that included the Far Right....

That is TOTAL BS. The party they’re referring to is the Swedish Democrats. They are DEMOCRATS and therefore they only want what’s best for Sweden...to call them ‘far right’ is SLANDER.

Why did she willingly fall into the trap that Åkesson set? Enough abstains to make her PM, then humiliate her with the same abstains voting for the budget. Reason alone to keep her out of the PM seat.
She had to step down when the Greens left her coalition.
The Sweden Democrats that the Swedish Left is so hyper-ventilating about would be regarded as very moderate by US standards. Here’s their platform
They want an end to Third World immigration and “refugees”. They don’t want immigrants who would immediately just go on welfare. They want welfare benefits to be limited to Swedish citizens.
