I don't think that is true. This is exactly the kind of case that Dershowitz will take on appeal. He has already stated his position on this and the Dersh never shies away from unpopular or controversial cases.

One of the foundational issues is choosing those cases and they’re jurisdictions which are easiest to win, thereby building the snowball of culpability. They may not have the biggest pay out but you want to get winds right out of the gate.

Republicans in Congress have had many opportunities at televised earrings to make it clear that the Democrats have been the party of the KKK, of Jim Crow, of lynchings in the south, etc. Republicans never do this. I used to think it was because they were the stupid party. Now I realize they are the complicit party. It is discouraging.
I agree, but there are some Republicans who have spoken out about the disconnect wrt Democrats and racism but it just goes over like water off a duck’s back with them. They listen and just yell/rant the same old lies over and over again.
The ONLY way you make them listen is through a position of Congressional power - majority and be prepared for their ridiculous histrionics. It’s what they do - they don’t care about kickback because they know the leftist MSM will be on their side, and when they do get power they do everything possible to silence any conservative opposition in media.
There are plenty of conservative lawyers out there who will represent him.
There’s LOTS of money to be made here.
