My brother married a stupid, mentally ill woman who seems, in hindsight, to be looking to end the marriage. She is a liberal maskhole/vaxsucker with no wisdom who has a father with money and connections to things like politicians and lawyers.
They have two kids, a boy and a girl. The girl has juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and receives shots weekly. She does not like them, and puts up a fuss every friday when the shots are given. My nephew is perfectly healthy.
The school announced recently that tomorrow, after school, they will be holding "vaccinations". The wife is 100% for this, and knows my brother is 100% against this. She signed a waiver, and the school only needs one parent to proceed. They had an argument tonight, and she threw out the "I don't feel safe with you here" card, and he went over to Mom's to panic. He believes she is using this as a way to separate and take control of the kids. Her father would be more than happy to help her in any way possible.
What are his options? Does anyone have any ideas? I told him to at least go to the school tomorrow morning/early afternoon for a little "preemption" meeting.
Is there a form he could bring? A sort-of liability form he could foist upon the nurses or doctors administering the vaccinations? Any groups filing lawsuits in his state he can join? Preliminary injunctions? Any other ideas would be welcome, I have a couple more up my sleeve.
Time to call Joe Cordell.
😂
and I’m a wife
The truth is kids will probably be fine either way, kids won’t die from covid or the vaccine. It’s almost a non-issue
You have to understand that a lot of this stuff is pure politics
Seems like they have other problems but that’s none of our business
That’s all well and good but the OP says it’s the uncle. The uncle has ZERO standing. The mother has not been declared incompetent and there is no judge in the family court system that will go against the female cabal. The husband even if he files for divorce is screwed. The family law system is biased against men to the point of no return
If the law is that it takes one parent to consent it’s over. The kids are getting the shot. The only thing that will occur with the uncle raising issues is the husband will lose access. It’s over.
I would advise the husband to, even at this late date, grow a spine.
But really, our daughter just today, had our ten year old granddaughter vaccinated. Â We are not happy about it but didn't try to stop it. Â Our daughter and son-in-law are heavily entrenched in academia and don't approve of our conservative beliefs.
Yep
Ah ha. You're from California.
Exactly, I’d show up at school,take my kids out and say they were going on a little field trip on vaccination day. There’s ways around evilness and stupidity. He’s just as much their parent as the wacko mother. He needs to act as such.
Plenty of children get sick enough to miss a week or two of school. How many children 5-12 have died from the vaccine? Be specific.
“You want to end a marriage over a sore arm? “
Oh boy. You aren’t really that completely devoid of reality are you?
” How many children 5-12 have died from the vaccine? Be specific.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Specious argument since the shots have just started.
You are clearly a pro-vax troll.
Later, gates.
Asking me to defend a position I didn't make? Classic deflection.
Why take a vaccine when the survival rate is 99.999%? I missed two weeks of school for the seasonal flu when I was kid. Probably why I have immunity now and haven't had the flu for 38+ years.
That’s vax shill posting style right there.
(not you)
That would be a yes.
Posting histories can be very enlightening.
Or maybe, just maybe, he has a differing opinion from yours which is not anything but a point of difference. You are not the arbiter of the facts either.
Shovel. Leave the cell phone at home. Old truck ….
I would also recommend a house fire. 3 survivors. Car accident on passenger side seat belts not used by passenger. Last resort would be mom drug overdose on …. Not going to say it.
Your an interesting guy. If you ever come to my area, hear banjo music, it will be too late. Mr Dr fancy. I am about out of patience with completely educated idiots.
So in your world, you think that it is good advice for an uncle with no standing to make waves in a marriage where it sounds like the father is unwilling to leave, and even if he were able to leave, the uncles action would probably harm the father and limit the time with his child.
I am equally out of patience with uneducated idiots like you who think they know everything, and give crappy advice beyond their expertise. Stay where the banjos play, you are not cut out for the really world, because you advice is both detrimental and when you pontificate on things medical, deadly.
