My brother married a stupid, mentally ill woman who seems, in hindsight, to be looking to end the marriage. She is a liberal maskhole/vaxsucker with no wisdom who has a father with money and connections to things like politicians and lawyers.
They have two kids, a boy and a girl. The girl has juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and receives shots weekly. She does not like them, and puts up a fuss every friday when the shots are given. My nephew is perfectly healthy.
The school announced recently that tomorrow, after school, they will be holding "vaccinations". The wife is 100% for this, and knows my brother is 100% against this. She signed a waiver, and the school only needs one parent to proceed. They had an argument tonight, and she threw out the "I don't feel safe with you here" card, and he went over to Mom's to panic. He believes she is using this as a way to separate and take control of the kids. Her father would be more than happy to help her in any way possible.
What are his options? Does anyone have any ideas? I told him to at least go to the school tomorrow morning/early afternoon for a little "preemption" meeting.
Is there a form he could bring? A sort-of liability form he could foist upon the nurses or doctors administering the vaccinations? Any groups filing lawsuits in his state he can join? Preliminary injunctions? Any other ideas would be welcome, I have a couple more up my sleeve.
Other = mother. OOPS
At least go to the school tomorrow and get himself arrested.
That is more likely than you might think.
Are the kids old enough to resist? Do their doctors have any helpful input?
I know a few fanatics and the juice is a holy of holies that cannot be disregarded or questioned in any way.
He should stay in the family home.
He should also spend as much time parenting as possible and keep a record of it.
Looking at ways to protect the cash and the stuff is also important.
In short, he should do everything possible to be as prepared as possible when the divorce happens.
Lawyer? He needs a judge, and he ain't gonna find one that will tell a mom she can't get her kids vaxed.
Hello Father

THAT'S the problem, right there! Your brother is not going to be able to "grow balzoneez" overnight. You and Mom can't fix their domestic cultural challenge at the 11th hour. I hope the niece voices an objection.
“Your mama wants to take you to get a big needle jammed haphazardly into your arms by an inept nurse.”
“I, your caring father, want to take you to Disneyland instead.”
Vaccines cause sterility? Got a scientific link for that? I assume the kids are in the 5-12 age group... so getting pregnant shouldn’t be a priority.
They only need to miss school tomorrow.
Have her sign a document that says she(the vax forcing mom) will assume all responsibility and liability should there be an adverse reaction to the vaccine.
Also go to school and voice your objection firmly and politely.
Finally, talk to the kids. This is what she wants to do...
I would definitely stay at house to keep her from totally brainwashing the kids.
Tough situation... prayers.
Don’t marry crazy and especially don’t breed with crazy.
Nothing, the parent has the choice.
A man about to be accused of abuse has just been warned he will have to prove a negative or risk losing everything.
At that point...if he let it get to that point...he's probably doomed. Too late now to do what should have been done years before. The camel is now confronting the eye of the needle; there are still things he can do but chances of success are vanishingly slim.
Most lawyers can't even return a call in 24 hours. I have personally taken such calls. For the caller it's life-or-death, for the boss it's a distraction from which his secretary is supposed to protect him.
That’s what I said to do, as well. Will he? He’s a weak schmuck. I don’t know.
What say you bhl?

Wow, that is some rude advice. Maybe you just got a sore arm ,but others have died or been injured from these useless poison shots.
See their post 29.
Also ask pediatrician to intervene esp with the rheumatoid arthritis kid.
