Birds of a feather flock together, and the birds flocking to protest and show their disapproval of Kyle Rittenhouse are definitely showing their willingness to forgive those Rittenouse shot no matter what they did. Even if those crimes are horrific and depraved.
Townhall’s Julio Rosas was on location in Kenosha where Rittenhouse had killed two men and shot a third in the arm after they had attempted to attack him during a Black Lives Matter protest. It was there that he ran into protesters who have no desire to see Rittenhouse go free and hold him up as a murderer.
Not surprising, given this is the left’s default position on Rittenhouse. To them, he is the villain, and there’s no reason in the world that could get them to change their minds.
However, Rosas zeroed in on one of the protesters who held a sign showing the three men Rittenhouse as shot as superheroes and asked the woman what she thought about Joseph Rosenbaum, the man who was a confirmed child rapist, and if she considered him a hero. Her response is nothing short of disgusting.
“They were selfless heroes,” she began. “They could have saved dozens of lives. I would never have jumped in front of a guy that had an AR-15 strapped on him, so they were heroes and I’m sick and tired of everybody making out like, ya know, they deserved to die for nothing.”
“They were unbelievably brave, courageous individuals,” she added.
Rosas attempted to, once again, draw her back to the fact that Rosenbaum was a child sex offender, but the woman didn’t see any reason it needed to be a part of the conversation since her only focus is on what happened on August 25, 2020.
“And you know what? He’s not here anymore. Why do we have to bring all that up?” she asked Rojas. “That’s nothing but hate talk, and unnecessary.”
Another woman chimed in and said what Rosas was asking is the same as asking what a woman was wearing when she was assaulted. She too deemed Rosenbaum’s sexual assault of a child irrelevant.

To be clear, this is a complete dismissal of a man raping a child and being held up as a hero because he held hard-leftist ideals. These people do not care that he sexually assaulted a kid. All they care about is that he was a violent activist for the left’s holiest causes.
I wish I could tell you that this was a fringe part of the left, but if we zoom out a bit we can see that this is an infection that has taken control of the left by and large. Pedophilia isn’t just excused, it’s openly advocated for and the number of stories that back this up is increasing by leaps and bounds.
This is the same left that is openly attempting to introduce books to schools that feature graphic depictions of homosexual sex acts, and have stories of pedophilia between young children and grown men. This is the same left that told a radio show co-host that “kink with kids” is acceptable and that “age is a construct.” This is the same left that puts children in drag and allows them to dance on stage at gay clubs after midnight. Even the New York Times glowingly painted transgendered women who teach sex as heroes.

It’s gotten so brazen that a Dominion University professor Allyn Walker and author of the book “A Long, Dark Shadow: Minor-Attracted People and Their Pursuit of Dignity,” attempted to sell the idea that being attracted to minors is fine so long as you don’t act on it.
“I want to be extremely clear that child sexual abuse is never ever okay,” Walker said. “But having an attraction to minors as long as it isn’t acted on, doesn’t mean that the person who has those attractions is doing something wrong.”
But it is wrong, and this is a form of depravity that has infected the left to the point of them dismissing it or defending it. Asking for, or attempting to generate tolerance is one thing when it’s between two consenting adults, but now the left is openly advocating for the tolerance of those who are attracted to children. These people don’t need acceptance or tolerance. They need help, but like transgenderism, instead of treating it like the mental illness it is, it’s moving into pretending it’s an innocent form of sexuality and self-expression.
These protesters against Rittenhouse are one more piece of proof that the left has grown incredibly soft on the crime of pedophilia and that they are no longer the fringe who dismiss it.
Pedophilia is a leftist problem.
