figured he just identified as a woman and whipped all the real girls!
ROFL
There’s a lot of truth in that. I’m a 60+ female and I do a lot of heavy lifting, digging, landscaping, etc., and I enjoy rude health. The Chinese have a saying: “Strong legs, long life.” Staying strong and active is crucial to a long, healthy life (along with a decent diet and minimal bad habits, of course).
*reads your post*
*sets a goal of 30 minutes a day of exercise*
*does 10 modified sit-ups*
*hungry*
*eats two peanut butter sandwiches*
*still hungry*
*eats 3 cookies*
*does not do the rest of the exercises*
I did too until my wife caught me.
Did you copy my notes? Am I on camera?
I could dunk a flat bball at 5'11"....and very white.
The brothas were impressed with my hops. I used that to my advantage in games I got to play in.
If I'd been smarter I'd worked more on my handles and shot. Trying to pass that experience on to my son.
I know too well the shoulder issues. Having a fit working through my latest left shoulder flare up. History of rotater cuff issues.
Really ticks me off as there seems to be no pattern when it hits.
Couldn't being a doorgunner identify the start of a pattern? Holding and rapidly firing a veritable cannon in your hands at shoulder height while balancing in flight means you are a better man than I could ever be.

Now THAT’S funny!

Thank you, Blurb2350! Sounds like a good mix! What is “rude” health BTW, or is that a misprint?

Absolutely hilarious! And brilliant! I love seeing/reading great online responses! The People have the real talent!
No, not a misprint! “Rude health” is a rather old-fashioned term meaning simply very good health. Maybe it’s a corruption of “ruddy” or maybe it refers to the good health enjoyed by rude — i.e., common or lower class — people.
“All of this paid off. I could nearly dunk a volleyball at 5 foot ten (and white!).”

Impressive! “Handles”? Ball handling? To be honest, I should have played much LESS B-Ball than I did. If I would have poured that much time into something more productive I’d probably be a millionaire many times over!
I fired a .59 BMG aerial version. Mounted on a pintle. Sucker weighed about 6070 pounds, but only time i hand held it was carrying to and from the helo.
My shoulder stuff started when the weights starting going up and I got greedy. Suspect did not do enough supporting exercises. Needed that, as I did not start lifting until after I broke my back and got serious about it. Not enough foundation.

One suggestion that works for some and worked for me—helping to bring back my shoulder at good 80 to 90 percent during the last couple years which allowed me to compete in this meet and bench press—has been to passive HANG on a pullup bar for 10 seconds at a time and up. It has something to do with creating space in the acromion for the tendon to go through. I found a book on Amazon that explains it: “Shoulder Pain: The Solution and Prevention” by John Kirsch MD. Check it out, it may help.
Will try the hang ASAP and check out the book. Used to have a small book called rotator cuff solution or similar, cannot find it.

Yup, I have that book too—it’s a good one. Check out the hanging book I suggested though. It could work for you. And let me know how it goes if you don’t mind.
Ordered the book you mentioned. Will try the hang at the gym today.

Geat! Hope it works for you, doorgunner69
