I saw her and the Jefferson Airplane in 1968. Just before the concert began she walked gingerly toward the edge of the stage just above where I was sitting. She was stoned out of her mind, but then she appeared to wake up, looked straight forward, and said “My God, I’m on a ship”.

Boy do I remember that. White Rabbit, Season of the Witch, Age of Aquarius. My hair was longer than my miniskirts, 😁

Jorma still cooks.. Thanks for the link. Excellent stuff. It's amazing how many people were playing Ovation guitars in the 70's.

I’ll say. What I know if this singer whose name I never knew, which isn’t much, it’s not a great voice.
Connie Francis was a great singer, and Dusty Springfield did indeed have a good voice.
“White Rabbit” does not showcase voice real well.

I have a 70’s Ovation 12-string and a made-in-USA Ovation mandolin, the same mandolin model that was used for the mandolin part on “Maggie May”.

Great Society’s version of White Rabbit is my favorite. It is Gracie singing with her previous band.
