A twist on an Abbot and Costello routine to expose a different kind of lunacy:
Bud: ‘You can’t come in here!’
Lou: ‘Why not?’
Bud: ‘Well because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But I’m not sick.’
Bud: ‘It doesn’t matter.’
Lou: ‘Well, why does that guy get to go in?’
Bud: ‘Because he’s vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But he’s sick!’
Bud: ‘It’s alright. Everyone in here is vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘Wait a minute. Are you saying everyone in there is vaccinated?’
Bud: ‘Yes.’
Lou: ‘So then why can’t I go in there if everyone is vaccinated?’
Bud: ‘Because you’ll make them sick.’
Lou: ‘How will I make them sick if I’m NOT sick and they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘But they can still get sick.’
Lou: ‘So what the heck does the vaccine do?’
Bud: ‘It vaccinates.’
Lou: ‘So vaccinated people can’t spread covid?’
Bud: ‘Oh no. They can spread covid just as easily as an unvaccinated person.’
Lou: ‘I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. Look. I’m not sick.
Bud: ‘Ok.’
Lou: ‘And the guy you let in IS sick.’
Bud: ‘That’s right.’
Lou: ‘And everybody in there can still get sick even though they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Certainly.’
Lou: ‘So why can’t I go in again?’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘I’m not asking who’s vaccinated or not!’
Bud: ‘I’m just telling you how it is.’
Lou: ‘Nevermind. I’ll just put on my mask.’
Bud: ‘That’s fine.’
Lou: ‘Now I can go in?’
Bud: ‘Absolutely not?’
Lou: ‘But I have a mask!’
Bud: ‘Doesn’t matter.’
Lou: ‘I was able to come in here yesterday with a mask.’
Bud: ‘I know.’
Lou: So why can’t I come in here today with a mask? ….If you say ‘because I’m unvaccinated’ again, I’ll break your arm.’
Bud: ‘Take it easy buddy.’
Lou: ‘So the mask is no good anymore.’
Bud: ‘No, it’s still good.’
Lou: ‘But I can’t come in?’
Bud: ‘Correct.’
Lou: ‘Why not?’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But the mask prevents the germs from getting out.’
Bud: ‘Yes, but people can still catch your germs.’
Lou: ‘But they’re all vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Yes, but they can still get sick.’
Lou: ‘But I’m not sick!!’
Bud: ‘You can still get them sick.’
Lou: ‘So then masks don’t work!’
Bud: ‘Masks work quite well.’
Lou: ‘So how in the heck can I get vaccinated people sick if I’m not sick and masks work?’
Bud: ‘Third base.’
And...scene...
How soon before we start hearing that it is not fair that the unvaxxed do not suffer from the anxiety caused by wondering if they are going to have heart problems, strokes, or a compromised immune system from the Notavaxes and that they must be made to get jabbed to even the playing field?
Where is the “unexpectedly”?

In addition, clicking into the “fact check” the author critiques, I find exactly what I expected about fact checkers, namely that their favorite trick is to take nutty stuff from nutty blogs like The Expose (”the vaccine gives you AIDS”) and mix it in with incorrect and/or misleading “fact checks” on more thoughtful blogs based on strong evidence, like this one.
It almost makes you think that nutty websites like The Expose are set up deliberately to discredit real substantive criticisms of the pharmaceutical industry or the government.
But with the pandemic having gone on for so long, it is now possible to compare COVID deaths in 2020 -- when no one had yet been vaccinated -- to COVID deaths in the same time period (e.g., by month) in 2021, at which time millions of Americans had been vaccinated. And what do we see?
Well, of late, there are more COVID deaths in 2021, compared to the same time last year. For instance, there were 47,643 COVID deaths in the U.S. in August 2021, compared to 29,881 in August 2020. There were 60,727 COVID deaths in September 2021, compared to 19,139 in September 2020. And while data for October 2021 have yet to be fully compiled, the 34,275 COVID deaths so far reported for last month compares unfavorably to the 24,909 incurred nationwide in October 2020.
Moving from the mass population level down to individual states also reveals interesting patterns. Vermont, for instance, experienced no -- that is, 0 -- COVID deaths in August, September, and October of 2020 (at which time, again, no one in the state had been vaccinated). By comparison, in August, September, and October 2021, at which time a very significant percentage of Vermont's population had been vaccinated, the state incurred 99 COVID deaths. These are, of course, small numbers in absolute terms (reflecting Vermont's modest population). Still, zero deaths in pre-vaccine 2020 and 99 deaths for the same three-month period in post-vaccine 2021 might be an indicator of something.
Singapore currently has the same problem, with higher vaccination (90% adult) but even even lower natural immunity (Less than 5%).
They have to open up in the next 6 months because their economy is being destroyed (International airport that was top 5 in world in 2019, now 8% of 2019), but when they open it will be OBVIOUS to everyone that even over 90% vaccination doesn’t stop the expoDential spread.
