I think political correctness and wokeness have killed comedy. You are simply not allowed to make fun of anything or anyone, unless they are a conservative -- then the gloves are off.

You just never know when a joke will offend someone who then makes a stink and your career is over. Also, what passes for "comedy" nowadays is not funny. I miss funny comedians. I miss laughing, hard, at some joke.
