On Monday, CNN host Chris Cuomo brought the lowest ratings his primetime show Cuomo Prime Time, a measly fraction of that brought in by Fox News' competing show in the same time slot.
Cuomo Prime Time brought in 605,000 total viewers, and just 126,000 viewers in the key age demographic of 25-54, according to data from Nielsen Media Research.
In comparison, the Fox News 9pm counterpart Hannity with Sean Hannity brought in a whopping 2,694,000 viewers, with 330,000 viewers aged 25-54. Between the hours of 4 and 11 pm on Monday, Fox News shows outperformed both CNN and MSNBC in every time slot, with Tucker Carlson's show Tucker Carlson Tonight bringing in the highest viewership of 3,146,000 total viewers, according to TVNewser.
Fox News brought in 2,710,000 prime time viewers, MSNBC brought in 1,360,000, while CNN brought in just 625,000 prime time viewers. None of CNN's shows between 4 and 11 pm reached over 1 million viewers. Cuomo's abysmal viewership comes the night before elections took place across the country, and a week after the charges against his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, were revealed in connection to a sexual assault case.
Ratings and profits don’t matter at CNN / AT&T.
You have to wonder, do they really care about ratings?
If not, how can they keep charging big money for advertisers?
Being PC only goes so far.
“On Monday, CNN host Chris Cuomo”
How is he still working????
“Ratings and profits don’t matter at CNN / AT&T”
Absolutely correct.
Same for nbc. Lorne Michaels said a long time ago as long as he has a say saturday night live will ALWAYS be on the air....back then I wondered why he said that....now I know.
It was a great week.
“It was a great week”
Yes and when this lunatic spending bill is defeated it’ll cap off the week nicely.
80% of those were stuck at the Atlanta airport.
There’s 126,000 people watching this idiot???? Who knew!!!!
They don’t....Soros pays for them to be on!!!
>>>If not, how can they keep charging big money for advertisers? <<<
All advertisers pay the same rate based on eyeballs and demographics.
Yet nothing happens to Fredo.
” 80 % of those were stuck at Atlanta Airport “.
I was about to ask where CNN found 605,000 folks who are that brain dead.
You supplied the perfect explanation !
To make the stats local: just shy of 23k viewers in Pennsylvania. That’s out of a population of 12.5 million. Makes me think that any company that advertises on CNN is being run by morons.
“Viewers in the key age demographic of 25-54,according to data from Nielsen Media Research”.
Decades ago, shortly after we moved into California, my wife became a demographic in the above group. She entered her tv watching, mine and our sons faithfully.
When I reached age 55, that stopped and she had to return some monitoring gear. Finally, she was told that, we were no longer key age persons due to me being 55.
She was furious at first until I pointed out what they were missing. We no longer had kids in college, basically owned our home and more disposable income in our lifetime.
So by stopping her reporting what we watched, they lost a huge demographic.
Of course, they probably got our viewing data from our TV cable company.
Of course the tv cable companies deny that they report on what their customers watch.
You cannot be serious.
AT&T was broken up in part because of madly chasing profits. No one loves money more than AT&T.
The “eyeballs and demographics” come from the ratings no?
You don't have eyeballs or demographics if no one is watching it.
How do they get those numbers?
