Florida IS a problem because it has a few horrible leftist hot-spots, such as Broward County, Alachua County (home of UF), etc. It’s only since DeSantis got in that they’ve started to clean up these corrupt counties, and they have him in their cross-hairs.
Yes, the northeast Atlantic coast counties, some central counties [Hillsborough (Tampa) and Osceola/Orange] and then the southeast counties on the Atlantic coast.

IIRC, in 2019 Governor DeSantis suspended/fired the Broward and Palm Beach county supervisors of elections and appointed their replacements.
Had he not done so, I’m certain Florida’s electoral votes in 2020 would have gone to Brandon.
