Are they really allowed to inquire about a person’s religious beliefs?
I see nothing wrong there. Looks good.
Be prepared and know what other drugs have this issue and that you don’t use those for the same reasons.
Discuss with your Pastor and ensure you have his endorsement of your position and would provide a letter of documentation and support.
Myrddin can you help?
Sorry, but I can’t help Q.
Boy, talk about good timing.
My son is in a similar position and asked me for advice. I’ll forward this to him as a good start.
Thank you.

That’s what I wrote too. It may get approved, I hope. Still waiting...meanwhile I have 4 recruiters lined up. I may get a job before Nov 23.
I will be in a similar position soon. I wonder when it is time to start naming companies and how to name them...
According to past Supreme Court rulings on Religious exemptions, the belief does not have to follow any logic nor pass any test. One merely has to have a belief and the employer must provide reasonable accommodations. The reasonable accommodations is where potential problems arise for the faithful.
Short and concise. I have to answer the 7 “questions” for DoD. My answers are currently 7 pages long and I believe at least 3 of them are an overt attempt at setting up a “Religious Test”. Another question specifically addresses only one of the 4 protected religious practices protected under Title VII. Questions appear to be set-ups or gotchas. I’m having way to much fun ramming this down their throats with facts, policy orders, legal reviews, etc.
Seeking a religious exemption concedes the legality of the mandate!
Would you seek a religious exemption from being forced to participate in a satanic ritual??? As the sacrifice???
There really is not much difference here.
An exemption is NOT NEEDED for an ILLEGAL INTRUSION into the sovereignty you have over your own body!
Even if they could prove it works with only a 1% risk of death, it is a DENIAL OF LIFE to coerce you to take it!
You don’t need a religious exemption.
You need to show them US Code 18 Title 242.
Put some Bible quotes in there.
Corinthians says about Body = Temple of the Holy Spirit.

Wow. That’s really overstepping on their part, IMO. Your explanation was succinct, well-reasoned and should be approved without question. Also, did you see this? Hot off the presses:

My pastor discussed this on Sunday. .
Your company has no right to question your religious beliefs.
Start at the 28 minute mark.

Ask the HR people where they received their Theology Doctorate since they claim to be able to judge your beliefs.

Fetal cell lines were used in testing all COVID vaccines. If you object to that, based on your religious beliefs, then you may have a religious objection to taking the COVID vaccine.
They may ask you about other vaccines. A reasonable answer is that you didn’t realize vaccines were connected to abortion until recently, and you are still researching that (if true). Do you do flu vaccines? Are you doing one this year? If not in general or just not this year, then that may be evidence that this choice is sincere and not just an excuse to avoid the COVID jab.
Good luck!

It is important to put your letter in your words. You are saying that YOU feel this way. Copying a form you find online isn’t going to demonstrate that these are your strong beliefs.
