Officers Heather Schaeffer and Benjamin Lapp of the Lancaster City Bureau of Police were terminated "following a Bureau of Police internal investigation into the use and submission of false records related to the City's COVID-19 reporting protocols," the bureau said in a statement .
According to the statement from the police bureau, the officers were fired "for violating required standards of conduct, for conduct unbecoming an officer and for conduct suggesting they are unfit for service as police officers." The bureau did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.
Schaeffer and Lapp were fired on October 20 and 18, respectively. Lancaster County District Attorney Heather Adams opened a criminal investigation into the matter, Lancaster Online reported

Advice: ask your local vaccination provider how they like Benjamin Franklin, and that you would rather not be vaccinated but you need it for your job. If they balk, say you changed your mind, rinse and repeat until you are happy.

A police officer should know better. Fake Cards are being looked for and closely scrutinized, especially if you are known to have been anti-vax up till now.

You’re absolutely right—a cop whom will forge Federal documents doesn’t deserve a badge. Besides, a fake card won’t get you very far, as you don’t have the QR code with it.
When the law protects the criminals the good will break the law.

IIRC, it is a felony to forge the vaccination card, which is a Federal document.

There are quite a few of what I refer to as FR Tories.
Probably something vague like “intent to defraud.”
