Methinks massive lawsuits coming Baldwin's way.

Hard to believe someone wasted their time splicing Alix Baldwin’s unrelated movie lines into video on gun safety.

At the very least, wrongful death civil lawsuits.

Ruining one of the greatest movie speeches ever.
The guy’s an a-hole, but that scene is great.

In a sane world he would have been handed the gun, cleared it by checking it and visually inspecting it, and would have immediately fired the person in charge upon finding a live round in it.

Rule #1: Don’t point a gun at someone unless you plan to shoot them.

Plus also NEVER pointing the gun at someone, especially someone not in the movie scene that was being rehearsed.

When I heard that the crew was using the prop gun to do target shooting WITH LIVE ROUNDS with this gun during down times I was shocked. That means that every time you handle it it is IMPERATIVE that you treat it like ANY other firearm. It is NOT a prop gun that never sees live ammo.
about a year ago my brother was handling an old 9mm gun that a “gun expert” had been handling in front of him a day before. He figured that the expert would have, OF COURSE, ensured it was fully unloaded when he was handling it. So my brother, without bothering to verify that it was unloaded, simply pulled the trigger. It put a hole in the dining room table and went through the dining room wall of the house.
I just wanted to bitch slap the guy.

Hard to believe someone wasted their time splicing Alix Baldwin’s unrelated movie lines into video on gun safety. Such as "Always be closing" after the safety guy said to keep your finger off the trigger?

Sorry, I guess I short changed that one in order to have time to get to my next release - Hitler learns that Alec Baldwin just killed someone.
To: PJ-Comix
It has been said on numerous posts and threads on this site.
When Baldwin was handed that firearm, it became HIS and HIS responsibility.
Also said on this thread, and by many posts on this site. NEVER EVER point any firearm at anyone unless you intend on using it.
Involuntary Manslaughter.

1. Don’t point a gun at someone unless you plan to shoot them. 2. Baldwin shot the camera woman. 3. Baldwin planned to shoot her. Simple logic.

He's already blaming the armorer, who is indeed inexperienced, and apparently didn't expunge ball ammunition from the set, but WHO HIRED THE IDIOT ARMORER? He's the producer. The buck stops with HIM.
To: Mr. K
In a sane world he would have been handed the gun, cleared it by checking it and visually inspecting it, and would have immediately fired the person in charge upon finding a live round in it. Actors are not expected to be experts in handling firearms, which is why they hire Armorers for the movie to maintain the guns.
This is on the Armorer, who was an inexperienced woman who was working as Armorer on a movie set for only the second time in her life.

I can’t stand Alec Baldwin, but why would they EVER need live ammunition as a part of a movie?

The woman he shot and killed, her now widowed husband is a lawyer. Baldwin will be paying out millions.

I did the same thing with my one of my son’s guns that was supposedly unloaded. Scary. At least I was outside.
