Here is Dr. Ezike, Director of Illinois Department of Public Health, explain to the public how they list a Covid death.
If you were in hospice and given a few weeks to live. If you were found to have Covid, then you be counted as a Covid death. This is even though you were dying of something else. So everyone who is listed as a Covid death, doesn't mean that was the cause of the death, but they had Covid at the time of the death.

Were the Feds paying hospitals and nursing homes for treating people with Covid-19? That would make it conducive for them to treat as many Covid-19 patients as possible wouldn’t it?

This has been a massive scam from the very start.
I went to the hospital for a hip replacement in 2020. I was in there five days. On the last night of my stay they suddenly moved me to the Covid ward.
I’ve been told by doctors that was so they could get Federal money for my stay as a Covid patient.
BTW the hospital had plenty of bed space. That wasn’t the reason they did that.
And statistically last year, no one died of the flu.
