I did that, and was given a terse reply it didn’t meet their editorial guidelines.
What I will settle for at this point is one mathematician telling me where the proof is wrong, which it is not.
I’d ask them for the ‘guidelines’ so you could make sure you conform to them, and resubmit. If you are going to be rejected after review, the reviewers should be able to say why, at least in general.
