It was a couple hours of the most fun I've had on TV for ages.
Another freeper and I were on the phone with each other every couple minutes as we just HAD to vent on what we were watching.
We were rooting for the Republican congresscritters dressed in Trumpian-Red natty uniforms.....the Dem team was in blue.
Even Biden and Pelousy (horning-in by making a visit to the Dem dugout right in the middle of the game and pressing the flesh with the benchers) couldn't ruin the game for us. They received applause from the crowd mixed with a powerful chorus of boos.
The score see-sawed back and forth, first the Dems ahead, then the Pubbies, then the Dems, and so forth. We were cheering and rooting to each other over the phone.
The game had suspense, comedy (incredibly funny errors you wouldn't believe).....great athleticism and serious determination on the part of all - even displayed by an 86 year old congressman playing first base (beautifully).....a stout, middle-aged congresswoman (only female in the game, gamely swinging a bat that was taller-than-she-was) who actually got a hit and received accolades from all sides as she waddled laboriously to first base (they put a pinch runner in for her right away, LOL).....we witnessed the first in-the-stands homer in 40 years of the game It was hit by a middle-aged Florida grey-bearded GOP rep who was also pitching a great game for the Pubbies and who had "Save America" on his red cap, LOL.....a nice camera cut to a view of the lit-up Lincoln Memorial, shining in the dark of night a few blocks from the stadium.....I could go on....
But if you missed the game, it's too sad because you would have had the time of your life. It was a great change from the usual depressing dreck on TV these days.
BTW....Hooray ! Hooray! Hooray!.....the Republican team won the nail-biting game by a score of 13-12 !!! I hope that's an omen of things to come !

The arms boxing her in. Most feminists would complain that the man is intimidating them. They made a case out of hillary leaving the podium and walking near Trump by claiming that Trump was invading her space.
If they had any decency, they would claim biden is invading this woman’s space. But that won’t happen. Any woman who claims that will be silenced.
