Yesterday I penned a throwaway post which was a slight rant at the fact that the world currently is more mad than usual, which is saying something. Unfortunately, many of my good readers took it as a sign of your faithful scribe facing imminent mental burnout where I would be reduced to some pathetic husk of a creature, shuffling around with a retarded look on my face as I gazed at the world in abject stupidity and ignorance coupled with a high level of poor dress sense.
You know, like the elites.
Yee of little faith. Those of us who step up like to complain about it once in a while. It does not mean that the stepping up will cease to be, that is unless I suddenly shuffle off this mortal coil. Fighting the good fight is about continuing when all hope seems lost, when the powers at be seem to be on the cusp of overwhelming victory and our cause an utter failure.
Take for example the good folk at the new iteration of Catallaxy Files, (the old one hit the dustbin when its host realised that his libertarian views belonged in the dustbin of history). This is what they posted yesterday:
I remain opposed to vaccine passports within Australia but as Jupes wrote yesterday here on the Cat,
“… vaccine passports are coming. The process has already started. If you want to travel in future, you will need one …”
Please understand my unhappiness at succumbing to this awful situation. I’m angry and I’ll register my anger when I next vote, it’ll be adios Scummo, Gladys and the Liberals. I’m furious about what’s happened to this country. I will always respect those who choose not to be jabbed but as Jupes wrote so eloquently yesterday,
“… I have faced the fact that we anti-vaccers have lost and have joined the ranks of the weak and gullible …”
I have met Jupes in real life. He is a good guy, an ex-elite soldier in the Aussie forces. Over the years, he and I have been in lockstep agreement over just about any topic you care to mention.
But in this case, he is wrong. Deadly wrong. And not just from a personal health perspective. No, this is also deadly because of the demoralising effect that his words can have on people. Our enemies positively love this sort of public capitulation. It is more valuable to them than any number of gormless celebrities mouthing the platitude of the day to their demented followers. Because from people like Jupes, these words of defeat affect people that those idiot celebrities could never hope to reach. And this sort of thing is catching, you know, like an actual virus.
It needs to be stopped in its tracks, nipped in the bud as it were. We are not close to defeat. On the contrary, our enemies are the ones up shit creek without a paddle, as shown by their sheer desperation and their determined efforts to turn the dial up to eleven. They have nowhere else to go. Yesterday was the cutoff day in France for healthcare workers to get jabbed or lose their jobs. Thousands have walked. The French healthcare system is in critical danger of collapse. Roll the dice, elite fucktards, roll the dice. I don’t see no snake eyes there, biatches.
So what I’m saying is that people like me who have been stepping up for some time will continue to do so. But it is also time for others to step up. To not succumb at such a critical time. I once read that in the Second World War, the Soviet army could only count on roughly one in ten soldiers to fire their weapons during combat. The American stats were apparently not much better. I work in high level emergency management and this goes for the people on the ranks up to the top as well. 10% is about what you get, on a very good day.
But 10% would be a vast increase on what we see now. So I will repeat, it’s time for you to step up. How? I don’t know, use your brains. Influence those around you, seek out those who will also not conform. Build those alternative communities that we need. Offer your services to those who are taking a visible stand.
For the love of God, get moving.
Ridicule the left, especially the politicians. Make your own fliers and covertly leave them around. Just remember that your printer leaves an almost invisible ID code on what it prints.
I agree that we’ve got them on the ropes. (On the other hand, however, I have very few financial responsibilities and have worked at home for a long time - me and offices don’t get along. I can’t imagine what I’d be feeling like if I was trying to pay a mortgage or something like that.)
But they can’t arrest everyone.
Well, where we go 1, we go as all (WWG1WGA), so by design, we only need one person to do anything.
This is how we succeed!
Context is vital here.
For example, if there was a virus that was contagious and killed 100% of the people infected, it would be true...a “passport” WOULD be the way of the future.
There would be no way around that.
But THIS is not THAT.
This is a virus with a miniscule fatality rate for many groups, and is significantly dangerous to much smaller groups who can be identified generally with some accuracy.
I remain adamant (as you apparently do) that this context in no way justifies an impingement on liberty. This virus is being used as a lever to implement authoritarianism, in my opinion and should be fought tooth and nail.
It would be different with a more highly destructive virus, and if it were, we would not be having these types of discussions.
But it isn’t.

Right. Thanks.
