It was a rude awakening for the Texas Longhorns as they travelled to Fayetteville, Arkansas to face off with the Arkansas Razorbacks. The only thing they left town with besides a loss was the realization that they are most certainly not ready to compete in the SEC. Lucky for them, there still might be time to sneak in and shred the contract.

Be careful of what you wish for, Texas. You got smacked around by Arkansas. There’s still Georgia, Alabama, and A&M to worry about. Plus Oklahoma is going with you.
Just wished Notre Dame had lost.
The Toledo QB shouldn’t have scored right away, I would have gone out of bounds at the 1, and then ran down the clock a bit.
My Ducks had the win of all time.
The entire SEC West is going to be a gauntlet this year. I don’t see Bama going through it unscathed.
I just wonder how “The U” let Cristobal get away, they barely beat App. State.
And the SEC East—at least Georgia and Florida, too.
Anyway, as a Tide fan, I say bring ‘em. Let’s play some football!
Far better than the NWokeFL!
AR-15, Baby!!!!!
The Big Twelve had already announced that there were four schools lined up to join the Big12 when OK and TX bail.
They’re not backing out. Good grief.
How did A&M do against Arkansas their last year in the Big12? Anyone? And how are they doing now? Same story with UT and ou ... not quite ready but will build over time.
Best line of all, “We could be the richest non-bowl-eligible team in the country!”
Arkansas has not beat Texas A&M once since The Aggies joined the SEC.
What’s even funnier was that the beatdown came from their old SWC bunkmate, who basically led to the demise of that conference when they went to the SEC.
"Texass" ... how original.
True. But that wasn't my question, was it?
Fisher left a dumpster fire at FSU. Sanford had them on the ropes a couple of years ago but didn’t quite have the juice to finish. Devlin Hodges lit them up like a Christmas tree.
He was not a known commodity when we hired him. We got him as a throw away.
Yeah there's BYU, Cincinnati, Central Florida, and Houston. Any of them should be more interesting than Texas.
Texas is the college football equivalent of a small, fat, bald guy with a bad toupee who thinks he looks like Tom Cruise. All you can do is shake your head at the pretentiousness of it all.
I think the Athletic Department at FSU created the dumpster fire that resulted in Jimbo leaving.
I actually would like to see Deion Sanders become their head coach, that would be fun.
UTA. Not to be confused with a UTI.
