With Governor Gavin Newsom’s recall looming in less than a week, this is America’s chance to send a message to Washington DC and the rest of the country that common sense is making a comeback.
When Howard Cosell the late sportscaster and native Californian appeared on the 1970s sitcom The Odd Couple, he called the Felix Unger character (played by the late great Tony Randall) an “inane drone.” A drone is a worker bee that, in its mindlessness, works tirelessly for the Queen and the Hive without any thought. To borrower from Mr. Cosell, if Californians don’t vote to recall Newsom, replacing him with Larry Elder, they are all a bunch of inane drones.
California’s election is important because every awful, terrible policy that originates in Sacramento spreads like COVID across the country. Californians need to ask themselves these questions:
What has Gavin Newsom done to improve your lives? Did the lockdowns stop COVID? Did he improve the homeless problem? Did he lower crime? Do you like paying the highest prices for everything from owning a home, renting a place, or filling your gas tank? What about the rolling blackouts and the forest mismanagement leading to raging wildfires?
Not to beat a dead horse but didn’t his appearance at the French Laundry surrounded by the very lobbyists that are making your lives miserable, all without masks and social distancing anger any of you? Newsom locked down public schools and sent his kids to a private school with in-person learning. He shut down every winery except for the one he owns. When is enough going to be enough for you guys?

California is having a recall vote. God willing, so will we.
If they are still using the 2020 machines, we already know the outcome.
Regardless of the outcome. Just the fact that California is having a recall election against the Democrat darling Newsom should say everything about the feeling in this country.
The fix is in from what I hear. The people can print ballots at home and CA is sending a ballot to every resident; legal or not and there is no way to audit or check the authenticity of the ballots.
In my humble opinion all the dem pols in CA from Foolsom down to the lowest election worker and of course all the illegals and other who vote illegally should be shipped to someplace like SW Australia since that appears to be hell on earth right now.
Anyone who has to cheat to win is a total loser this country can do without. In fact would be a better place without.
After this recall, win or lose, we should have more of them.
Although I wholeheartedly support the recall out here in CaCaLand, it has no chance. Since GruesomeNewsom still has the WuhanFlu stick to wield, we are going with the corrupt-by-design mailin ballots scam. Ballots are already being stolen and sold, so the fix is in.
Note also that the recall ballots were designed so that the check box showing “recall” shows thru a hole in the ballot return envelope — imagine that, what a coincidence.
So, if you vote recall, your vote can be filtered out even before it is opened.
To many Kalifornians love being “taken care of”. I’m not optimistic about the election.
They are, in fact, inane drones. If I were to bet, I’d bet on Newsom surviving, America, not so much.

Two years ago, I might have agreed. But I think the fix is in for the Newsome recall, and I suspect the same fix will also be in for a lot of places for the 2022 elections. So, in that sense, this will be a good test of whether the rest of the US follows California. I hope I’m wrong.
But if the Fix works in CA, it will likely work in 2022 elsewhere.
Let’s pray for Larry.
The GOP lost this country a long time ago. They were entrusted to keep in check the democrats. They failed miserably then, and are unwilling now to do anything about voter fraud.
Th GOP is lazier than Obama.
Newsome is probably going to win. He may not even have to cheat.
California is a mess. Normal sane people are a distinct minority there.
California has enough illegals in the state that their multiple votes will overwhelm legitimate votes.
I predict Larry Elder is going to win. But don’t get too excited. I have the feeling they’re only “letting” him win to relieve the pressure a little. The libs are still very much in control, sadly.
