They might have taken down the warnings. I’ve just visited the National Archives pages in question and I can’t find any harmful language warnings. Could I be missing something here. Does anyone have a link to the warning page.

It would be easy to find out. Who runs the IT dept? Ask them. Fire all involved.
They’re worried needlessly since cursive is no longer taught most won’t be able to read the actual documents. The interpretations they put in print can be revised for everyone’s safety.
It’s important to protect persons accustomed to living in a sheltered, politically correct environment (such as our schools and universities) from the language they might encounter in some historical documents. ;-)
