In 1936, Connecticut’s Governor, Wilbur Cross, commissioned a Survey of the Human Resources of Connecticut that seemed better suited to Nazi Germany than the Constitution State. The survey classified state residents based on 21 factors including race and citizenship. A 1938 report based on the survey called for weeding out, either through forced deportation or sterilization, immigrants and various ethnic groups, as well as those thought to suffer from a variety of supposed disabilities including mild vision impairment.

When I first heard about it, I thought it was a conspiracy theory. Unfortunately, it’s true, in all its ugliness.

The Jewish population is a little over 3%.. which is really high - you’re right. Not sure about the Jewish part.. although eugenics was heavily focused on keeping eastern Euros out of the country.

Eugenics began here. Sanger and others of her ilk were Hitler’s inspiration.

The joke’s on him. Wilbur Cross High School is now overwhelmingly non-White. How long before it’s renamed?

Whoa—they were looking to sterilize the bottom 10% of the population? A couple of generations later that was echoed by CT’s most famous CEO, Jack Welsh at GE, forcing managers to cut the bottom 10% of their workforce each year.

Hitler drew a lot of inspiration from the eugenics movement which had put down roots in Germany before he came to power.

Margaret Sanger, as evil a woman as ever existed, was a huge progenitor of the eugenics movement.
