We’ve written about Biden checking his watch while he was at Dover yesterday watching the transfer of those who died in Kabul from the airplane to the hearses that will drive them to their final resting places. He also failed to understand that, as Commander-in-Chief, he should have saluted the coffins as they were carried past him, rather than putting his hand on his heart, and, as the picture below shows, he stood at “parade rest” rather than attention (although that may have been old bones protesting). It was all a telling breach of protocol and it turns out that Biden was just as tone-deaf in his dealings with the families of those who died.
Marine Lance Corporal Rylee McCollum was one of those who died. He was only 20 years old and his first child was due to be born in three weeks. It would have been tragic enough had he died in a battle that had meaning. The horror of what happened to him and, by extension to his family and unborn child, was that his death was utterly pointless.
McCollum died because Biden completely botched the pullout from Afghanistan. Even a child would figure out that you never give up your security until the last person, civilian or military, is gone. But while a child could have figured that one out, Biden and his team were unable to do so.
Although McCollum’s family was at Dover to see his body arrive, only his wife, Jiennah went to meet with Biden. The rest of the family didn’t even want to speak with him because they believe he is responsible for what happened.

I’ve read/seen from two different families who met with Biden that he disrespected their son/daughter/husband’s death by focusing on his own son who died.
Such a sad time in the history of this great nation.
We are now finding out what a truly despicable person Joe Biden is. He is evil personified. Even Hillary could fake caring better than this worthless piece of excrement.
Joe would have been better off going to hide in his basement again.

That was the goal, right? Bring them home, declare victory, take the credit, and then watch it all fall apart months later and blaming others... after you took the credit. To bad it didn’t work out for your 11 September (20th anniversary) theatric. Must be horrible.
Obama part III. Pull the troops from Iraq (2011), declare victory, take credit, and watch it all implode. Make sure the troops are home exactly 1 year before the elections so it won’t become an election issue. The time table is obviously tied to what is best to make the mission succeed and not benefit oneself. How very ethical, professional, patriotic.
Oh well, today patriotism is defined by wearing a stupid mask, and Joe always has a big one.
Career politicians! This is why they should not be allowed.
Military service. That is why that should be strongly encouraged/favored for the chief executive.

I wondered why Biden didn’t salute. Putting his hand on his heart seemed very inappropriate for the commander-in-chief. Maybe he would’ve just been too tired to salute13 times. Or he couldn’t remember. This is all so horrible
Somebody needs to start selling flags with just “Beau” on them. Then everywhere Biden goes he can see people waving the Beau flag.

Both claimed the commander in chief did not just check his watch once, but after every casket was removed from the plane.
Hoover also told how he refused to meet with the president at the event.
Schmitz said his own meeting ‘didn’t go well’, and Biden spent more time talking about his own son Beau than Jared Schmitz.
Schmitz said Biden spoke of losing his son Beau Biden, an Iraq veteran, to cancer six years ago. But Schmitz said that he wanted to talk about Jared instead and that he and his wife took out a photo of their son to show the president.
"I said: ‘Don’t you ever forget that name. Don’t you ever forget that face. Don’t you ever forget the names of the other 12,’" Schmitz told The Post. "‘And take some time to learn their stories.’"
But according to Schmitz, the president didn’t like that and bristled, replying: ‘I do know their stories.’

That son of a bitch has never earned the right to salute. He never served in the military, five student deferments then classification as 1-Y for asthma. He didn't even win the elected office as far as I'm concerned.
I am no psychologist but Biden seems so insecure that he feels the need to indulge in one-upsmanship whenever he feels challenged. He constantly diverges from conversations he perceives as criticism by picking some trait or accomplishment he claims, real or fake, that proves he is superior. He calls people fat, ugly, not black enough, stupid, ignorant, elitist, by implication when extolling himself and his family. He can’t stand the thought that others might be smarter, more beloved, more accomplished, more successful, even more suffering.
I don’t see him as antimilitary, just incredibly insecure and ruthless in establishing his pretend superiority. I think it is the main reason why he doesn’t answer press questions off the cuff. His people know the vicious part of his personality would be on public display as he belittles journalists . Until he became President he could always pass the buck and he’s frustrated now.
The whole Biden clan is a monumental embarrassment.
