What will happen if earth stopped rotating on its axis
I know there are very few chances of such an event is but think about it, it will be like you are driving a Mercedes 🚘 at full speed, but suddenly you have to press the break with your full force.

Same here If the motion of the earth suddenly stopped, the momentum would send all things eastward with the speed of the earth's velocity. See some effects of it.
You must see this if you are not seeing this then you are missing something.

No, momentum is conserved also. It is why ice skaters spin faster when the bring thier arms close to thier body.

The Superman movie made clear that if the Earth stopped rotating, time would just stop. If the Earth rotated in the other direction, time would reverse. Makes sense to me.
