so what this chart says is, under Wuhan original there were 389 vaccinated deaths in over 50 group and under Delta there were 402 vaccinated deaths in the over 50 age group,
a 4% increase.

As opposed to 205 and 253 over 50 age group unvaccinated a 19% increase.

4% increase vaccinated 19% increase unvaccinated

And this is a bombshell?

Kind of a confusing table. What does “unlinked” mean? And do the two columns with +/- 21 days after first does mean they only had one dose, or are they a subset of the two-dose column?

However, I think it's a mistake to simply make a side-by-side comparison of the numbers because the overall number of the unvaccinated is lower than the number of the vaccinated, so the percentage of the unvaccinated becoming ill would be a lot higher than a simple side-by-side comparison would suggest.

Listen, here's a basic arithmetic lesson: when determining a percentage, there's a numerator and a denominator. If the denominator is the same in both cases, say 80, and the numerators are different, say 20 and 40, then one percentage will be 25% and the other will be 50%. But if one denominator is 80 and the other is 120, and the numerators are still 20 and 40, one percentage will be 25% and the other will be 33%, a big difference.

So my point was that if the numbers of vaccinated and unvaccinated people are not the same - and they aren't - then you need to take that into consideration when evaluating the data. It is not a question of "taking sides," but of trying to be ACCURATE when evaluating statistics. Are you a fifth grade drop out? Or is accuracy irrelevant to you in the name of what you regard as the party line?
