The White House's spokespig Jen Psaki has all but admitted that they're planning on leaving some Americans behind.
"Our commitment continues to be to U.S. citizens: If they want to leave, we will help get them out," Psaki responded. When asked if that means the administration will act beyond the Aug. 31 deadline, Psaki admitted the White House believes some Americans will be stranded.
"Again, we expect there could be some, but I don't -- I'm not going to get into it further," she said.
Note how she puts that -- "if they want to leave."
The two Congressmen who traveled to Kabul -- one Democrat, one Republican -- are agreed that there is no way to get all Americans out of Afghanistan by August 31 -- or even by September 11.
"We came into this visit wanting, like most veterans, to push the president to extend the August 31st deadline. After talking with commanders on the ground and seeing the situation here, it is obvious that because we started the evacuation so late, that no matter what we do, we won't get everyone out on time, even by September 11," Moulton explained. "Sadly and frustratingly, getting our people out depends on maintaining the current, bizarre relationship with the Taliban." And the odds of getting those Americans out fell even further when the State Department -- having realized that there was a "security threat" at the airport, which we indeed saw come to bloody fruition today -- told Americans to stay away from the airport.
How are they going to get airlifted out of the airport if they're not at the airport?
Several European nations announced on Thursday that they were halting their evacuations from the Kabul airport after reports a day earlier of a security threat at the airport, as the window for airlifts appeared to be closing, days before the deadline for the U.S. troop withdrawal from Afghanistan. Belgium, the Netherlands and Denmark all said that they would no longer be able to facilitate airlifts from the Hamid Karzai International Airport, which has both civilian and military sections. The airport has been the site of chaotic scenes since the Taliban takeover of the capital earlier this month, as tens of thousands of Afghans and foreign citizens had desperately searched for a way out.
The U.S. Embassy had warned Americans on Wednesday to stay away from the airport and told anyone outside the perimeter to "leave immediately," citing unnamed security threats.
So the situation is this: Of the 1500 or more Americans in Afghanistan, we will certainly wind up leaving behind hostages and future beheading victims.
Many citizens of allied European nations will be left behind.
And as for the 250,000 (or more) "Afghan allies" we keep hearing about...? Forget it, they'll almost all be left behind to be executed.
Which is why the Biden Administration and its media allies need to create a Narrative for the coming slaughter: any Americans who are left behind wanted to be left behind, so it's their own fault, not Biden's.

Based on the administration's gaslighting -- Politico's words, not just mine! -- it seems that the Biden team, having found themselves in a situation with no good options and terrified of a bigger fight with the Taliban, is prepared to claim, "we evacuated every American who wanted to get out, the ones who didn't come to the airport by August 31 clearly wanted to stay." Speaking of setting up a Narrative -- that's from National Review, which is apparently now shifting to pretend they didn't propagandize for Biden, and didn't vote for Biden themselves.
In a grim update, four US Marines are now reported dead from the bombing.
Jen Rubin gives no F's, though. She continues spinning for Biden, and also pushing the idea that maybe those left behind just plain wanted to be murdered horribly by terrorists:

After 19 message and outreach through media, there might conceivably be some Americans still wanting to evacuate who have missed all those messages, not heard any of the outreach efforts or pleas to leave from fellow Americans, and not contacted the State but are there many? logically, not

For several days now they’ve been saying “any Americans that WANT to leave”. They were laying the ground work for this excuse. Saw it coming for days.
They knew full well they weren’t even going to try to get all civilians out.

I can’t imagine the horror of an American desperately trying to get out of Afghanistan, not being able to, and hearing what this woman is saying.
The plan was to abandon those Americans. They didn’t count on this much pushback. They thought we were ALL wuss-sheep.
Meaning they didn’t want to evacuate Americans in the first place instead they evacuated Afghan civilians mostly men.
They can try that lie but it ain’t going to fly because there will be family members and friends of those stranded doing interviews on the television news.
Helen Keller could see this coming. It has been telegraphed over the last few days. There is no honor in these people. Detestable.
I hope she is so happy every day knowing what they have done.
Typical "I've got a secret" mentality among the ruling class. And she's supposed to be a spokesperson.
I don't think the "It's all under control" approach is going to do very well in the face of the first combat deaths in that godforsaken country in over a year. We'll see soon how the "We don't care" approach does.

The .gov will not allow it to air, and alphabet and apple will refuse it also.
For 80% of the people, that means it doesn’t exist.
For the rest there will be threats of hate crimes for disrespecting a foreign culture, blaming of Trump and the GOP, and perhaps other smears.
By two weeks there will either charges drawn up against Trump for this, or it will be off the news cycle. I am betting on the later.
I suspect at least a couple civilians were.torn to death by the sucide bomber. Willing to bet the bomber waited until he/she got next a couple Marines to detonate.
