Joe Biden finally gave his big Afghanistan presser this afternoon. Arriving five hours late for the event, the President took the stage. His eyes were bloodshot and glazed over with his pace of speaking obviously labored as he began to robotically read the teleprompter.
What then transpired was one of the most insulting, tone-deaf spectacles I’ve ever seen from a president. Instead of getting right into the crisis in Afghanistan, Biden inexcusably began the presser by plugging his “Build Back Better” agenda.
No, I’m not kidding. It was absolutely surreal.
Biden: "Before I update you on the meeting that I had with the leaders of the G-7 earlier today, I want to say a word about the progress we're making on the Build Back Better agenda here at home…"
I think he meant how his #BuildBackBetter agenda is actually for the Taliban…. pic.twitter.com/mUu4S4mMj5

Biden would go on to spend minutes talking about the “climate crisis” and bragging about Democrats passing a “voting rights” bill (that will die in the Senate). Before he even mentioned the disaster unfolding in Afghanistan, he praised Nancy Pelosi for her work on the budget bill and claimed that he had produced 4 million jobs. It was disgustingly disconnected from reality.
Later, Biden would finally move to the issue of the day. At that point, he lied about today’s call with the G7 leaders, claiming they were supportive and standing shoulder to shoulder with him on his withdrawal from Afghanistan. That’s contrary to public reports that the Brits and Germans are furious at what is going on and are begging us to extend the timeline because they can’t get everyone out in time.
Here were Biden’s comments on that matter.
And we had a productive discussion. There were strong agreement among the leaders about both about evacuation mission underway, as well as the need to coordinate our approach to the Afghanistan as we move forward first on evacuation, we agree that we will continue to close our close cooperation to get people out as efficiently, as safely as possible. We are currently on a pace to finish by August 30. The sooner we can finish, the better. Each day of operations brings added risk to our troops….
…At the same time, we renewed our humanitarian commitment to the Afghan people and supported a proposal by the Secretary General GRA, terrorist of the United Nations, led an international response with Unfettered humanitarian access in Afghanistan. Third, we talked about our mutual obligation to support refugees and evacuees currently fleeing Afghanistan. The United States will be a leader in these efforts, and we’ll look to the international community and to our partners do the same. We’re already seeing our allies commitment. They’re bringing to their countries.
The gaslighting followed a pattern of Biden doing the same over the last several weeks. He continues to act as if everything is going well, reciting his talking points. In fact, much of today’s speech was lifted from the speech he gave a week ago. He blamed Trump, he talked about killing Osama Bin Laden, and he insisted that our allies were absolutely fine with everything occurring. It was like Groundhog Day.
As I said, his eyes were bloodshot and glazed over. It was difficult to even see the whites of his eyes at times. His presentation was cold, with no empathy to be found. Upon finishing his teleprompter reading, he simply stumbled out, taking no questions, clearly unable to physically and mentally do so. It was obvious why he was five hours late for this presser. Something is bad wrong with the president, and there’s no way it can be ignored anymore.
Right now, we have the emergency in Afghanistan playing out, and that’s first and foremost. Thousands of Americans are trapped and ISIS and Al Qaeda are on the rise again. But long-term, the fact that we do not actually have a president will become the most pressing matter. The United States is a rudderless ship, drifting along as our stature in the world collapses. Americans, including the media, better start paying attention because our enemies dang well are.
Biden wanted the job and now he is already sick of it.
the Brits and Germans are furious at what is going on and are begging us to extend the timeline because they can’t get everyone out in time.
I hope it’s not just me that knows that the only person or group that is going to extend any timeline is the Taliban and whoever its head honcho is.
CornPop certainly has no say in that decision.
If the UK and Germany were as smart as they want the world to think they are, they’d be dispatching their Ambassadors to Bejing, Moscow and Islamabad, to ask for help.
They need to negotiate their own deal with the Taliban since it’s apparent they’ll get none from the US or CornPop.
I do know one thing. If they don’t and the Taliban shuts everything down in a week, they better break out the checkbook, because it’s going to be expensive getting all their folks back home.
I’ve had it. Have an aneurysm and die you evil f*ck!
One solution to the August 31 impossible deadline is that Biden himself becomes “incapacitated” in the next few days. Doubt he will appear in public at all for the next five or six days. If anyone really cared about his health and well being , they would get him to resign now.
The walking cadaver has finally fallen over — everyone sees it except the leftist media, his lapdogs cheering him on. We are so screwed.....
The United States is a rudderless ship, drifting along as our stature in the world collapses. Americans, including the media, better start paying attention because our enemies dang well are.
I hope that Governor Kemp and Ducey, SOS Raffensberger, the Georgia General Assembly, the state legislatures in 4 or 5 other states, AGs in 2 states, and all the government hacks in Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, Arizona and Pennsylvania sleep good at night knowing what they did and how responsible they are for what is happening in this country and the world. Their actions and complicity have allowed all of this.
All because one man was interfering with their gravy train and trying to do things for the people instead of the government hacks.
Biden’s agenda with Afghanistan is “Build Back Burqas”.
We have never had a President keel over and croak on stage in our history....but 2021 could be the year...
But, KamelHo will be worse—from the frying pan into the fire.
At what point does the 25th amendment be put into action?
Build what back?
Somebody broke the President!
Afghanistan forced Joe to make several speaking appearance before camera in a week. If this theory is true, then at least last week Joe went on a doping/recovery/doping/recovery/doping/recovery merry-go-round.
This speech is one more trio on the merry-go-round.
Maybe the dosage has to increase each time, just a little, as his condition worsens. Given the state of his body, he can't be bouncing back like a 20-year old.
Notwithstanding the Hollywood-level makeup job they likely apply to Joe, someone should look at a time-series of clear images of Bidet at his speeches to see how bad he looks by this presser.
Biden’s present visage reminds me of the late 1990’s when I would pass a tabloid in the grocery store and see comedian
Bob Hope on the cover of The Enquirer or The Tattler.
By then, Bob’s eyes were red and watery. His skin looked waxen or cadaverous. I hated seeing Bob that way, considering all the fun his movies had brought people.
He was also very active in USO tours, year after donated year. Bob insisted on continuing to make live appearances long after he was advised to stop. He lived until 100.
Joe Biden has that in common with Bob Hope; there is no one in their inner circle with enough courage and “gravitas” to tell these men they have lost credibility and it’s way past time to leave the stage.
Yup,
Cackling wench awaiting
like a hungry vulture.
He wasn't compos mentis enough to realize that he was really being run for pResident. It's all just an Alzheimer's dream to him.
