Secretary of State Blinken joined Face the Nation this morning to discuss the ongoing catastrophe in Afghanistan.
During questioning Blinken admitted the United States must ask the Taliban for permission to evacuate Americans from Kabul, Afghanistan.
What a total disgrace.
These losers have NO IDEA what they are doing or who they are dealing with. This is shaping up to be the greatest disgrace in America’s history.

I sincerely doubt we are merely asking. I would bet my very last dollar that we are paying ransoms for each person they allow to pass or for small groups of people. I’d bet the pallets of cash are already shuttling in.
This is a far worse humiliation than Adams and Jefferson having to deal with the Barbary Pirates.

Did you all see where they are flying the majority of Afghanistan people even though they have not been vetted or checked for diseases. The majority are going to red states I am infuriated with Abbott for opening up Dallas Fort Worth all over Texas. I am reading that the Taliban emptied the prisons and those are the people they are permitting to pass theIr checkpoints to board our US plane. I am just beside myself this is effin insanity!!

What do I think WILL have to happen, to get Americans out?
The CCP will require XiJinBiden to publicly renounce ANY plans to defend Taiwan, recognition of ALL new ChiCom bases in the S. China Sea, removal of ALL allied warships from said Sea, the US to drop ANY and ALL charges pending against Meng Wanzhou and drop ALL investigations and bans of Huawei products, ESPECIALLY building 5G networks. Only THEN will the ChiComs put pressure on the Taliban and negotiate the release of MOST Americans and Westerners.
In other words, TOTAL CAPITULATION by XiJinBiden, to get the hostages citizens back. In the eyes of the world, America will resign its position of 'world leader' to the PRC. I haven’t seen this reported anywhere on FR or in a press article: In the last 1 1/2 hrs, two different CNN reporters on location (in Doha) reported that all the gates to Kabul airport have been closed for the last 6-8 hrs.
