Milley is considering falling on his sword for Austin and retiring post-evacuation, per Pentagon official
Milley also privately telling officers he wishes 45 was back despite the bad blood
We know where the aircraft all are but don’t want to let the info out for fear of having to answer questions about it.
Wonder who gets tossed under the bus?
Don’t we put kill switches etc. on aircraft exported to our “allies”? If so, why wouldn’t do the same for our own, JIC?
I kind of like the Japanese custom of leaders being ashamed of themselves if they fail—enough to fall on their swords.
To look intelligent and professional?
Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Sorry, I crack myself up sometimes!
NOTHING could make the Prime Mistake look either intelligent or professional. Unfortunately, he didn’t give himself a closer shave, especially around the throat.
You lost how many planes?

That will allow him to focus on his true passion: wokeness.
Too bad it won't be literally.
Words fail me.
I don’t believe that for a second.
Why are we not bombing these assets?
Scorched earth!
Maybe that’s a “feature” not a “bug”.
Somebody is going to post one of those Hitler videos on this debacle.
Probably someone who's ready for retirement.
So, were the Chinese pilots standing by? Could come in handy for Taiwan.
Actually, I saw one the other day. It wasn’t “funny” in the usual sense, but it was spot on. The dialogue was worthy of transcribing.
Missing aircraft that could come back to haunt you with a BOOM
The Afghans weren’t going scorched earth retreating and destroying the aircraft. Even if they had time to do so, I doubt they would’ve done it.
The problems are first, I doubt the Taliban could fly a kite, so forget a military aircraft (I could be incorrect though). Second, they weren’t flying them to “friendly” airbases (where would that be BTW being surrounded by snakes) but instead to Uzbekistan. Guess who gets the aircraft to exam? Mother Russia, if not China.
