How do you like your global economy now???
Maybe Biden will have a mental lapse of epic proportions and launch on China. Sure, this won’t end well for everyone involved, but I’ve made my peace. Life on Earth is worse by the hour with each new law or mandate.
Talked to an old client in Montreal yesterday.
Says the last container from China he received cost him $18,500.
Now that’s Canadian so almost $15k US.
Was $3000 2 years ago. $1500 to Western US ports.
The laws and mandates are meant to distract you from things like this.
Gonna cost you big time to buy that Chinese chit .... maybe want to consider American or not buy at all.
Make it in America and let the Chinese eat General Tso’s Chicken.
The Free Traitors have us tied to the beach like Gulliver.
The Trump agenda was a giant neon sign warning of overdependence on a single supplier like china. He tried to warn us.
The sudden wave of mysterious 3am voters wouldn't listen tho'.
Hopefully with the advent of additive manufacturing such as 3D printing, 3D weaving and robotic cutting/stitching trade will largely consist of purchasing software and designs. Then many products could be made locally.
This also means less transport and less fuel wasted. That should delight globalists because it means fewer greenhouse gases. But don’t hold your breath because large companies are so invested in keeping things the way they are, no matter how fragile the supply chains.
If I’m not mistaken the guy that was in the White House, this time last year, was doing his best to get all of that stuff out of China. Only to be obstructed by EVERYONE.
Amazing how that happens.
I don’t buy it. I got my ear to the ground though especially in and around my field of work. But sadly I do buy from several “American” companies that I suspect just bring things in bulk and repackage them here.
There is one item I buy that I am very confident is Chinese made. It used to be made in a factory a few miles from my work. They took me to the 33 club at Disneyland once. They sold to a conglomerate who then moved production to Mexico. Then that conglomerate was bought by money men who shifted production to China. AFAIK this particular item is not made anywhere in North America anymore. It is a very common item used in foods, textiles, cleaning solutions and more. You probably have many of them in your house, garage, car as do most Americans.
In fact, I was talking to the guy in Montreal because he is importing cheap ready-made stuff to sell in discount stores across Canada. It’s getting so costly that he’s looking to move some production to USA, which is where I fit into the scheme of things. Not sure if I can get him what he needs but I am trying. Would not be a high margin deal but I can use the business.
You can thank a Free Traitor.
Made in the USA is the only way to go forward.
Why we need a really high import tariff. Short term pain for LONG TERM GAIN.
Lock China down! Who gives a rat’s azz?
Nothing from them is any good anyway.
Do without. Learn to live on the rough side.
Here comes more covidflation
