You are correct. The Law now is what they say it is. The Coup done away with Constitutional Government. Most [99 and 99/1,000,000] of the people pretend that we are under the Constitution. Those in Power allow the sheep tp feel that way to keep them pacified.

Judge: that section of the Constitution was for when Democrats want to force Republicans to vote. It wasn't intended to be used against us. < /sarc>

“This is an internal legislative branch concern.”
Which is why the governor really has no role to play. The idea that the legislature is independent of the executive goes back a long way in Anglo-American government. The Queen (and her representative) is not allowed to set foot in the House of Commons.

Is there not a single Republican governor who will stand their ground? Governor Doormat won’t engage the judicial branch on this one. Dems are fighting to win. GOP is clearly doing what they think is the minimum required.

They’re guilty not only of dereliction of duty but, worse, of accepting political bribes by going to DC on an all expense paid trip.

Separation of powers...Legislative vs Judicial. Texas constitution specifically empowers the legislators to arrest these members, so the judge should be ignored.

Some “judges” should be put in stocks in public squares for all to throw rotten fruit and old car parts at.
