Vermont state senator Richard McCormack has once again abused his constituents with dishonesty and name-calling. In a partisan harangue against the unvaccinated, McCormack has publicly requested Vermont’s Secretary of Education Dan French “to limit entry to Vermont public schools to people fully vaccinated against Covid-19.” (It is not clear whether this is directed at children themselves).
Though Senator McCormack smugly chirps that “like my legislative colleagues, I’ve generally refrained from injecting myself into the details of managing a public emergency,” he has ambitiously injected his dishonesty by Openly calling for discrimination against unvaccinated citizens. Says McCormack:
People have a right to not vaccinate. But the rest of us also have the right to bodily autonomy, including the right to public spaces that are as free of contamination as possible. This government duty, to protect bodily autonomy, is especially pressing regarding our schools, where unvaccinated people act in a manner that threatens the health, indeed the lives, of staff, faculty, parents, visitors, and, most importantly, unvaccinated children.
This legislator is spreading a tyranny more dangerous than COVID-19, and is eminently unqualified to comprehend, let alone protect, the Constitution. Nowhere has he informed the citizenry of the constitutional standard required under federal law in order to impose any restrictions on liberties. Yet, the government must demonstrate a “compelling interest,” using the least restrictive means possible to restrict the liberties of Vermont schoolchildren. Has that standard been met, and are other impacts on children being weighed?

So about one year after every damn Maoists in the country chanted “We’ll never take a Trump vaccine” they’re seeking punish those who don’t take it. And they’re blaming Trump for those who haven’t.
The dems are skilled at demonizing one class of people and directing everyone else’s anger at that class. They’ve done this to Whites for a half century and now are doing it to the unvaxxed.
They are blaming the unvaxxed for ALL the cases and deaths, when it’s obvious that the vax doesn’t prevent the disease.
But the jabbed are still walking around with the same high viral loads as the unjabbed, and the jabbed are still getting sick. The jab doesn't work. So why is this guy floating scapegoats when in places like Gibraltar where they are 100% jabbed the folks are walking around and still contaminating each other?

He’s assuming any unvaccinated person is sick and dangerous, which isn’t true. Many aren’t sick, and others were sick but are over it. Some minority of unvaccinated people may be sick and not know it. Some unknown minority of vaccinated people are sick too.
He’s making assumptions of people’s virus carrying status without facts in evidence.
Do we assume every driver is drunk because some are?
If this irretrievably stupid politician truly wants “spaces that are as free of contamination as possible” then he damn well better keep vaccinated people out it is clear they are the carriers of the very “contamination” he so pathetically fears.
