The beheaded body of a Minnesota woman was found on a sidewalk in Shakopee, a suburb of Minneapolis, on Wednesday.
On Thursday, the Shakopee Police Department identified the victim as 55-year-old America Mafalda Thayer of Shakopee. The police department said they responded to a report of an attack at the intersection of Fourth Avenue and Spencer Street at around 2:31 p.m. on Wednesday.
Shakopee Police announced they have arrested a suspect, 42-year-old Alexis Saborit, also of Shakopee, on suspicion of second-degree murder.
Saborit is being held in the Scott County Jail, pending murder charges.
Shakopee Police Chief Jeff Tate told Bring Me The News that a bystander captured the brutal attack on video and shared it on social media.

I have this recurring nightmare of someone being stuck inside a burning car and a bunch of bystanders standing around recording her on their cell phones while she is screaming at them for help.
They seem oblivious to anything except holding their cameras still and in-focus.
In some versions of the dream I come upon the scene too late to do anything and proceed to beat them to death. With a baseball bat. Chasing them down and cracking their skulls open with it.
Those are the most satisfying versions of the dream...

I live in Shakopee only a few miles from where this happened. Ironically the murder took place within a few blocks of the County Sheriffs office. The guy was apparently a psycho and should never have been released on bail. However, all sorts of crime is rampant in the Twin Cities, the epicenter of defund the police. Last summers rioters who were caught on video burning buildings including a police precinct are all free and will never face prosecution. I expect that vigilantes may soon spring up and mete out quick justice as our law enforcement system can no longer protect citizens

The killer and victim are both white. The woman was a young looking 55. She worked at My Pillow.
