A box of hunting ammo used to last me 10 years.
Same here.
Up in the woods in Maine I heard a gun dealer complaining about his "cheap" customers:
"Guy comes in here with a box of 30-30 he bought 8 years ago with three rounds left. He asks me, 'Do you think I should buy another box?'"
Must not hunt hogs or live in state that issues many deer tags.
I remember when our local hardware store would sell three or four rounds to someone going hunting. Ammo was expensive for people before LBJ’s Great Society.
That all came to a stop when LBJ signed the 1968 Gun Control act into law.
