I remember when our local hardware store would sell three or four rounds to someone going hunting. Ammo was expensive for people before LBJ’s Great Society.

That all came to a stop when LBJ signed the 1968 Gun Control act into law.

Some gunriter told a story about how he could drink for free on Indian reservations. He’d sit in the bar and reload peoples’s empty 30-30 brass.
