Sometimes in war, you have to choose the path that will lead to ultimate victory and which will save more lives than the easier alternative.
Operation Warp Speed was a counter-offensive, a political D-Day that had to be done.
If Trump hadn't touted OWS (which reminder: Both Harris and Biden said in 2020 not to trust any vaccines under Trump) we would still be in perpetual lockdowns, social distancing, small businesses closed, and mandatory masks.
OWS frustrated the Deep State, corrupt media whores, DNC/GOP elites, and Globalists and put them into competing camps. Right now, people who had been vaccinated are still getting tested positive for COVID-19. Regardless of what your thoughts are or the merits of the tests themselves, this is a huge red pill. When people see for themselves that the vaccines are worthless, what do you think is going to happen to the rest of the Globalists' agenda?
Now, you got Turtle McConnell, AL Governor Ivey, and some other Republicans jumping on the bandwagon for people to get vaccinated. IMO, I think this is all optics. I think they are taking cues from Trump. A national mask mandate is both unconstitutional and simply unenforceable. Ditto for mandatory vaccines.
What people need to understand is that we are in perhaps the greatest spiritual and information war in recorded human history. I think Trump weighed the actual deaths of COVID-19 and the vaccinated vs the lockdowns/mask mandates/social distancing/business closures and had to choose the lesser of 2 evils here.
Trump has always said he does not support a vaccine mandate. There's no way in Hades that I'm getting one, I don't care who touts it or how much money or other stuff is offered. But I do understand why Trump is touting the vaccines here.

I agree with this. The Deep State was using the “Pandemic” to crush President Trumps Number One asset. The Miraculous Economy that the Left and the Globalist RINO’s had been telling us for many many years could never happen again. Globalism was the only viable path forward.
President Trump called BS on all of that and then Proved it to be BS. So, the Destruction of the Economy and using the “Pandemic” to do so and calculating President Trump would Flounder and Flail in dealing with it was seen as their Silver Bullett.
President Trump once again Confounded the Political Class with his reaction. Nothing like that response would ever occur to any of them. They are not people of Action and Problem Solving. They are for the most part Wastes of Flesh.

Trump tends to be positive about his belief in American exceptionalism.
He believes this country could create the best vaccination for the virus in the world....and that it (the virus) came from China.

My instinct is that this is one more thing that Trump got suckered on. This whole thing seems to be part of a really evil plan and Trump needed to stand up to it early on and he didn’t. I know that would have been much easier said than done but we couldn’t be in a much worse place than we are right now.
He should have listened to Scott Atlas and fired fauci and just gone to war a year and a half ago. I know for a certainty if I could go back in time I would wish that’s what he did. Anything is better than the situation we’re in now.
Op Warp Speed was the accomplishment. And Trump stated the vax should be optional. And he’s not changing his position.
I see no indication of large-scale vax success. I’ve observed radio-silence regarding any vax negatives save the back-channel revelations.
Trump’s position is largely a political one at this point. I don’t fault him for that — but he must be clear about the vax being voluntary, clear about the not-uncommon, serious side-effects, and emphasize that children should not be vaxed save the extremely rare scenarios where no other options are available.

Interesting you say that because so many FReepers would say A-Bombing Japan was the right thing to do without batting an eye, and perhaps it was, because it brought down the overall casualty of war. Many of the same people now obsess over every single "collateral damage" from the vaccines -- which is *minuscule* -- in trying to bring down the overall casualty of Covid. Remember the vaccine isn't just for the person taking it. More importantly it's about reducing community spread and helping protect vulnerable people (of all ages) who are more likely die from Covid.
They are getting desperate, they keep coming up with “variants and the people who are going to get vaccinated have done so and they are threatening the rest. Is the vaccine passport the mark of the beast? No one can buy or sell unless they bear the mark?

Trump wants to be on the right side of history. Being pro vax while also being anti-mandate is the right choice. Same reason Desantis is suddenly pro vax and anti-mandate. It’s the moral high ground.

Trump is a business guy who understands numbers. Losing a very small number of people is better than losing a large numbers of people. It’s not about the perfect solution, it’s about the best of many imperfect solution based on multiple conflicting factors, including loss of life and loss of the national economy.

The white house is making social media and telecom companies censor anti vaccine .. personal... messages to each other.
The constitution is gone. That’s the first freaking amendment.
Trump ran in 2016 to prevent a President Hillary. Everything else was from the hip.

This virus was in the works back before Trump came down the escalator. This is being revealed now, mostly by Rand. I expect the “vaccine” was being made at the same time.
I only have to look at Gretchen Whitmer to see what the plan really was for this virus. Hillary was never going to have to face another election.
This virus was ginned up from a cold virus. It is degenerating even now, and will be a cold virus again, in the end. But we won’t be the same people we were. We will be madly testing for a cold virus and taking whatever shots or other mandates are decreed.

It’s war on many levels and President Trump is navigating the path that is calculated to spare the most lives.
By pushing the rate of development, it means the ‘vaccines’ are not FDA approved but are instead EUA. That buys the good guys time to expose the voter fraud. PResident Trump is counting on Americans to resist, even if he has to play along to save lives. We’re to research, think for ourselves, and be Americans, not sheep.
May God bless and protect him, and rush exposure of the vaccines and the 2020 election theft so this phase of biowarfare can be halted ASAP.
