We will impeach Biden in 2023, if he lives that long.
This notion of “impeachable offense” is stupid, and anticonstitutional.
Impeachment is a reserved power of the House of Representatives. The grounds for a “high misdemeanor” are whatever the House of the day says they are.
To prevent abuse of this power, trial and conviction are reserved powers of the Senate.
But there is no one able to sit in judgement of the House if, in their sole opinion, an offense needing a trial in the Senate has been committed.
I can’t imagine the backlash being that bad. But, remember that Kamala would be the new President.
