Cleveland State University says it will require students living on campus to be fully vaccinated before they arrive this fall despite Gov. Mike DeWine’s signing of a new bill preventing Ohio public schools from mandating coronavirus vaccinations.
DeWine signed into law House Bill 244 Wednesday prohibiting Ohio public schools and colleges from requiring students to be vaccinated without full approval of the vaccinations by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Lawmakers said the bill was initially intended to help military children transition to school when they move to and from the state.
The new state law doesn’t go into effect until Oct. 12, and the university says that means it can still require students who return to campus on Aug. 16 to be fully vaccinated.
In April, CSU announced it would requiring any students living on campus to be fully vaccinated before the governor’s new decree. The university — which served as the largest FEMA mass-vaccination site in Northeast Ohio — issued a statement following the governor’s signing of the bill touting its low infection rates.
“Over the last three semesters, our students, faculty, and staff have worked hard to keep our community safe. As a result, Cleveland State University achieved one of lowest infection rates among urban universities in the country,” the university said. “We continue to strongly encourage all students, faculty, and staff to get vaccinated. It’s the best way they can protect themselves, their family, and our community. All three of the approved vaccines are safe, effective, and readily available.”....

Lots of universities consider themselves to be little narcissistic nation-states.
Include them in the upcoming crimes against humanity trials.
Then charge the university admin and board with criminal charges.

Just an inner city indoctrination center. I was working in Cleveland and finishing my degree, (non traditional student), in the late 80s. I looked into CSU. I was told most of my credits would transfer, but I would be required to take 8 additional hours of African American studies.
I finished my degree at Akron.

Easy solution. Don’t return to CSU until after the law goes into effect. January in Cleveland sounds good to me

Send the state police to cuff and perp walk the college president out of his campus office. Any other school administrator that tells a student they have to be vaccinated...give them the same treatment. I’m guessing the college would soon run out of administrators willing to mouth those demands.

He talks as if a Cleveland State University degree means anything. 4-year graduation rate looks to be about 17-18%.
I just looked up the school’s demographics. It is whiter than I thought.
I am guessing that far more of the white than black students stay in the dorms.

My kid and my money would go elsewhere........that is if you can find a college that isn’t woke and totally worthless
