Many thousands of people claim they have been contacted by space aliens of various kinds.
Science has decided they are “kooks” and unworthy of study.
Their call...but don’t expect anyone to pay attention when scientists suddenly get interested in this topic.

For what it’s worth Alex Jones said this would be the next thing after the coronavirus—a staged alien encounter. He probably believes what he says but he’s been snookered before. The last big example was Steve Pieczenik who had Alex believing that all the absentee ballots were watermarked and used blockchain encryption. When the fake ones were outed the whole deep state would come down.
There was only one problem. From my understanding only the Utah ballots had such features, so that didn’t help us that much.
I’m not saying Alex Jones or this article are incorrect, but they need to be taken with a whole deer lick of salt.

That aside, however, the author does raise one obvious point: the biggest moment of spontaneous applause in theaters showing Independence Day was, after all, when the aliens blew up Congress. That, I suppose, is unity of a sort.
